How is suspension travel when off road with these tires, clearance problems worse?

I came across this thread because I want these exact 285/75/R18 Duratrac tires. Just had the 3"/2" ReadyLift installed but my truck has the TRD Pro skid plate and it couldn't go back on. So that's problem 1. Problem 2 is that I don't know if the 285/75/R18 will fit. I have the factory 18" 60mm offset wheels. Here is the clearance I have now, thoughts?

We’re the shims needed or is that something you did just to get a little more lift? Love that look btw.

Why weren’t you able to put the TRD Pro skid plate back on? I thought it would have been better suited for 285/75/18 vs the TRD Off-Road skid plate.
