That is a whole lot more then just the timing belt and water pump.
The picture show both idler pulleys, timing belt tensioner, cam seals, crank seal, thermostat, serpentine belt as well as your water pump and timing belt.

Your quote from the dealer is just two parts... although $1,200 is a bit high for all the parts shown... $6-700 is more in line if you get wholesale prices

I don't doubt he is using OEM parts.
But in my neck of the woods, 1 timing belt, 1 water pump, 1 gallon antifreeze, $1200 is highway robbery.
Toyota dealers around here only charge $700 for that. For $1,200 I hope he is changing everything else I listed

    But hey, free shipping

I had both belts, pump, tensioner and cam seals done by Toyota for $1100, no way that parts is right unless that's the marked up price. Unless the thermostat is way more expensive than I know because thats about the only thing there I didnt have done.

Every dealership I have talked to has 2 versions of pricing. They have one that is a reasonable price and one that is probably 70% markup. Take 70% off that screen shot and you're around $390 for parts and the rest is roughly 5 hours labor.

The point I was trying to get across is just that OEM parts from the dealership are expensive and $750 is fairly cheap for using OEM parts. I agree the screen shot is over priced but unless the shop was ordering an Aisin kit for $200 I would be suspect of him going to the dealership for parts. I would want a written estimate listing all parts used for the repair will be OEM. But that's just me.
The cheapest price is not always the best price.

@Nick T No sorry if i mispoke. My mech gave me a rough estimate of 750, he said it may be more though once he figures out how much the dealer chargers for the pump.

It's also possible there a commercial customer discount involved, a lot of places will vary that depending on the amount you're buying.

Not doing the crank seals. I hear not to mess with them unless they are actually leaking.
