Barcelona Red - TRD Pro or the plastidipped Platinum? Had every intention of going with the TRD Pro, but decided to go crazy with the plastidip and loved the way it turned out. What say you?

I nearly went with what you have, initially the black Platinum Grille was my choice, I personally think there are too many Pro Grilles around....then I was at the custom shop one day and saw a T-Rex Sport grille....for me it was a NO brainer....

I'd go with the Pro. Maintenance free. I'm getting sick of my plastidipped grille.

Maintenance wise the pro would be better than trying to maintain plastidip. I think they both look good. But there are a ton of pros out there. That's why I haven't replaced mine.

A little of this and a little of that.
Since you gave us 2 choices, I would go with the Pro grille.

Out of the 2, I'd go with the pro...I dipped mine and I'm leaning towards peeling it off. I painted a new emblem to match and will post pics in a few days.

That platinum grille really looks good. I don't have problem with dipping. I had Toyota center emblem and light cover on the bull bar plastic-dipped in red quite a while ago. There is no sign of wear yet. As long as you have multiple coats (I also have them clear-coated), you should be fine.

Air lift, black out emblems, wheels, tonneau cover, tires, led lighting, hidden step rail, remote start.
I like platinum grill as well. Had several land cruisers that had the pro grill. Plastidip it is with red emblem

It looks good either way, but I saw this on the little sidebar for instagram pics. No idea who owns the truck, but I really liked the black and red theme they had going. I think the red is one of the few that can actually pull it off this nicely, though I don't know if it would look the same with the middle of the bumper being red. Maybe Plastidip the middle of the bumper and do a gloss black pro grille? :notsure:
