My rear Dr. doors are ready for general tradework, or zombie coronavirus ambulance service. I recently joined a few tundra forums trying establish myself as a reasonable adult looking for maintenance clues from people that have been tweaking on the 1st gen for 20 years. I got a few replies from people that are interested in how my box works. So for you blue collar junkies I will start a thread here for explanation and q&A. Chinese fake beadlock alloy fellows be warned. I don't roll there. But I may buy a honeycomb Chinese grill when all the toyota plastic fails, someday.

I think you are in the right place... welcome...

That SB looks like it could make a sweet camper setup too with all those windows (which seem unusual for a SB) and that roof rack.

Was the rear suspension changed or beefed up in any way?

Stock rear leafs came of with the bed week one. Replaced with a 6leaf+overload. Not sure what the spring rates were but it rides with a stockish rake with the box and standard load of tools in all the drawers. never topped out or bottomed out factory tokicos, so it rides near stock height wise. went to Bilstein 5100s after that. But its getting to be time for a new leaf pack back there, starting to ride a little rougher on a new set of shocks.

However, throwing an extra hundred pounds of tools/materials in softens it right up so I have been hesitant to make the call to Alcan yet.

Nice set up! Not really interested in how your box works but maybe someone lighter in the loafers might. :D

My pops was Blue Collar... worked in the mines. A famous face model named a move after him called ‘The Blue Steel’. He hated when I went hand model status and did those Merman commercials.

My hands are softer than the whitest white collar workers manos and they can maintain a Tundra like no other. Sorry, but I have the black lung today after spraying my new muffler with ceramic high temp.
