The sub is on the drivers (left) side and molded in. I'm not a fan of cutting so I'm hesitant on making a change adding my P250.2 RF etc. I'm not out booming anymore I just need a little more of a tight low end for my jazz and 80s -90s music. I'll post pics in the morning

Today's technology is a bit crazy. Give me 5v outs a 1ohm amp & a DVC in a sealed box and I'm good.

That's really a pretty good deal for that box. The sub I have in my current box is pretty decent, but they sell an updated model of it now. So I think I'm going to sell it with my box when I get the new one. I want both subs to be the exact same.

This guy, tech12 built my box. I want to say he used 5/8 mdf, but he glassed the inside.

That sounds like what I have. I haven't yet looked into what replacing the whole back wall with a non JBL truck one would entail.

Also, the only real instructions I could find for removing it were on another forum, which is extremely ad whored and won't let you view pics without joining........which I won't do.

I did a rough install yesterday to see how it would sound. I'm happy with the results. Now I need to find or make a box that will fit behind the seats while keeping the same space these woofers like.

After you remove the back wall, the sub looks like this.......
