Hey guys I’m new here to the Tundra forums (came from ram). Just got a 2020 Tundra TRD sport CrewMax!

I’ve been on here reading for a few days now and I’ve set my sights on the AMP Research bed extender. I was going to pair it with a Bak Revolver x2/x4 however it seems that they are not compatible with the amp extender?

Now I’m left with the truxedo sentry or bak mx4/g2, does any of you guys know if these will in fact work with the bed extender? Any other suggestions are appreciated as well.

Going to be using the truck to haul motorcycles so a cover with full bed access OR easy removal and storage in the bed with 2 motorcycles is a must.

    Thanks!

Welcome aboard! Nice rides! I do not have a cover, but I can’t see why it would interfere with the amp bed extender. I have the extended and it mounts just using the low bolts in the inner bedside near the tailgate where the tie down hook is.

I have the MX4 and a OEM Toyota bed extender. Not sure why your combination will not work together. As long as the rear of the bed is clear, it should work. I also have the "no drill" brackets for my extender.

This was the best combination I came up with that works for me.

From what I have read the Revolver X2/4 and AMP combo work together but the AMP Bed Extender cannot be flipped while in the mounting brackets. You will have to take the extender off, flip it around, and lock it in place. You’ll lose some of the connivence but if you’re putting a bike in the bed, it has to be removed anyway.

I have had a Bak Flip G2 and Amp Research extender for a couple years on my Crewmax. They work together with no problems. One good investment I made was the quick release brackets with the little levers to release the extender. It can be removed from either position without rotating. Makes use under a bed cover more convenient and also makes it much less of a pain to use the thing with cargo that's too tall to slide it over in the vertical position and then fold it down onto the tailgate.

Does the ReadyRamp mount under the tonneau?
Does it "flip" into the bed when not extended?

More interested in the motorcycle at this point :muscleflexing:. That you on the RR?

As for a cover, I really like my Lomax Trifold. Easy install and takes about 20 seconds for your average person to take on and off. Bought it with the intent of hauling my CBR1000RR to the track this summer.
