Wondering if anyone has done any modifications on their tundra that improved mpg?
    I have a 2016 V8 4.6L

Pretty sure most of the modifications done here negatively effect MPG. Haha

I saw a thread the other day where they were discussing the cold air intake as potentially helping with MPG. But I'm not sure the difference that might make is worth the money.

Cold air intake is debatable. I think for your truck, your possible best bets are a Dirty Deeds exhaust and/or a hypertech programmer.

This is usually the best mod for fuel economy.....

over-inflating tires... I don't do this however.. the savings in gas as little as they are, are either mitigated by weird tire wear or increased stopping distance

Dirty deeds exhaust definitely don't help with gas mileage. Haha

Just got my truck - 5.7L....

Drove 60 miles on the freeway at 75mph with cruise control and the computer said 14.9mpg avg.

Next day drove 104 miles taking the kids to and from school and some running around town - avg 18.7 mpg via the computer.

Obviously a very small window view, I'll look more when I get back home from this rotation. Driving around town kept the rpms low, no need to accelerate hard. Highway rpm's were a constant 2000.

Sounds about like mine when I got it. Bigger, heavier tires, and a loud exhaust took me down. Haha
