Subbed. That looks badass and is cheaper than a Softopper.

Edit: Never mind. Their site kind of sucks and all I had in my cart was the tonneau. The whole system is about a grand. Still interested though.

Ordered just the standalone topper for my double cab. Will post some pics once it arrives and installed. I didn't get a quote on lead time so we'll see.

Looks great but I’m guessing it’s not suitable for dogs like a true cap?

I'm also curious. I like the idea of a canopy but don't want the commitment. An easy removal option like this seems perfect. But I'd be putting an 80lb dog in there, albeit in a kennel and strapped securely down; so wondering about wind noise and element control compared to a hard shell.

I would call or email fas-top and see what they can do for screens. They're part of Bismarck canvas so they know how to make any sort of cover you would want. As is I think it would get way too hot for dogs without leaving the front and or rear flaps open. As for weather resistance, we'll see. For sure a great shelter but might not be 100% sealed waterproof. Wind noise on the highway I'll have to go for a ride to test, sounds like fun.

Their soft tonneau is definitely one of the best looking around

So I bought the Traveler package early this year. Replaced my Truxedo cover as I wanted something that I could put up when I took the dogs, but lower it and use a tonneau at other times to take advantage of rolling the rear window down.
So far I love it! Takes 5 min to put up or down. I ordered the mesh rear window for more airflow for the dogs. The one time it was really hot I took the front plastic window off, rolled down all my windows to allow as much air to pass through as possible.
    Would highly recommend to anyone.

Anyone know or tried to remove the “topper” portion by removing those center pins? I regularly have dirt bikes in bed that push up against the front and would probably damage that section. Cool concept. Maybe some holiday pricing is around the corner.

I haven’t tried, but heard it can be done. I have no issues storing the topper under the cover when not in use.
Also, check out radco for pricing. I saw $1400+ online but got it for $1k at radco.com.

I ended up picking up the Fas-Top tonneau cover and so far I’m liking it. It’s light, easier to use than the Gator tri fold I had previously, and it looks good.

I had a leer cap on my Tacoma before and loved it. It did great for the dogs. But didn’t want to go that route, or any semi-permanent cap on the back of the Tundra because it just defeated the whole rear window.
This gives me the option to do either within a couple of minutes.
