    Exactly. That said, from about late April/early May until the first snowfall, I'm pretty anal about washing the truck and keeping it clean.

    I used to, it was part of the ritual of getting ready for a big road trip.

    Now I purposely start with a dirty truck.

    I leave my truck in some pretty remote areas, like trailheads, and I’m concerned about break-ins.

    I think thieves might be less likely to break into a dirty truck than a clean one.

    Who knows.

    Every time I head down to my parents. It’s about an 80 mile drive and I like having a clean vehicle when cruising down there. Seems to run better after being washed. :rofl::rofl:
