My good buddy has the same truck. I got laughed at by 3 dealers when I said i want one, I didn’t care the colour, I wanted rclb 5.7 4x4 second or 3rd gen. I had finally given up and was test driving an extended cab one and just before I was about to buy it I thought I’d check car gurus one last time. I found my truck for sale 5 minutes after they posted and simply bought it sight unseen. I got it 3 days later. The guy told me they got half a dozen calls right after me but I was quick enough. He was a ford dealer and couldn’t understand how much I wanted this truck. I’m very happy with my purchase and that I didn’t settle for a puny box and a back seat I don’t want.

Not sure if you can make out the 4x4 badge :)

I dreamt about owning this since 2007 when they came out.

interestingly, the buddy of mine who has my trucks twin sold me my t100, when he did that he replaced it with one of those pink first gen rclb 2wd ones. Lots of rclb love going on here!!

I had night shift turned on. Looked like quicksand. Good looking color. I saw another 1st gen AC painted cement nearby also.

Bought this a little over a year ago. Just had new tires mounted to the 4runner limited wheels I had in the garage. 2003 SR5, power everything, v8 4wd fun. My boys only want to go out in this now.

First post here but I got my 3rd RCLB this Week and am pretty excited about it!

First one was a Green 2001 V6 2wd Work Truck but with just 10K miles on it from the 1st owner.
I got the Swisstop cap for this one too.

Loved that truck and traded it when I found the Burgundy 2001 SR5 V8 4WD!

Then this Week I found a 2015 SR 5.7 4WD with the ARE Fiberglass Lid and 41K on it and drove it back home!

I love these trucks and the RC is for me!

2021 is stock with a Vagabond Nomad on order, 2005 has OME suspension, Alcan leafs, ARB rear locker, aluminum leer camper shell, 235/85r16 KO2
Sold my 2005 4x4 AC Tundra with 150k miles for $14k and picked up this 2005 4x4 RC Tundra with 150k miles for $7500. I love the 8 foot bed, I couldn't sleep comfortably in the 6 foot bed of the old access cab. I put on a custom tall Leer commercial shell and added a roof fan and some dimmable LED lighting. Right away I caught up on some maintenance, put on a new OEM steering rack, and flushed the transmission and coolant system. This has been a great rig, basically a Tacoma size truck with a v8 and an 8 foot bed! This is the only regular cab Tundra I've seen that has power windows and locks, as well as cruise control, tilt wheel and heated mirrors. Now it's got some 235/85r16 KO2 tires and an ARB air locker in the back, as well as a wireless carplay stereo with rear view camera. Suspension is coming next. I like the basic work truck look of it, and I even ordered some replacement center caps for the stock steel wheels, as well as a matching steel wheel for the spare. This truck is capable but has nothing to prove.

    Sweet vehicle upgrade!

I ended up with an ARE DCU on my 2002 4x4 RC.

That camper is a beast! I like the full rear swing up door. Looks to be about the same dimensions of mine, but you've got the sweet aero front end.
