I've got an SR5, which does not have auto climate control. When I select heat and floor (feet) only on the dial, the air still blows out the face vents. The dial position is on floor only and no other variation. Is this normal? I've owned many cars and have never had this lack of control. I hate heat on my face, even with the face vents closed fully I can still feel heat coming out of the upper vents.

Normal, only way to turn that off is to turn on recirculation.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
I have found that the feet/defrost is the best to get the truck warm without it blowing in your face.
