Yep, that’s the 38 gallon tank. Your fuel pump is submerged so there’s a reserve of several gallons when your gauge says you’re empty.

I’m glad you’re liking the truck!

What kind of transmission is in that motorhome? I would assume an automatic?

I was worried about it being pulled with the transmission in neutral. Learned that one the hard way myself many years ago. That's cool it's a front wheel drive.

Great looking setup and I like the tint too. Those rims look much better on your truck!

Usually the first thing I have to do when I buy a vehicle is tint the windows. Fortunately, this one was already tinted!

And I’m glad someone else besides me likes the wheels. I think they look awesome!

More pics, great! We love those.

I'm a fan of select chrome accents on a vehicle. Too much black makes it look like many others out there IMHO. Are your black side badges plastic dipped or simply covers on the letters?

I think they are just painted flat black. The paint was fading so I had the touchup guy redo them. I like some black, but the wheels were too much for me.

Your truck looks good and that really was a great deal . The tire pressure on my door jamb is 55 psi front and 45 psi rear , they’re Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs . The ride is fantastic with them and great traction in the winter although you probably don’t have to worry about the snow lol.

Guys, I never mentioned it, but I sold the Tundra two months after I bought it. I got $24,000 for it. Besides not really needing a pickup as much as I thought I did, I came across a smoking deal on a 2003 Sequoia. It was actually owned by my ex-mother-in-law and she hadn't driven it since 2016. After having a couple of minor fender benders, she decided it was too big for her. We think her vision and depth perception was failing. She was 85. Anyway, she tried to trade it in for a smaller vehicle and the dealership offered her $4000. So when I ask her how much she wanted for it, she said $4000.

Funny thing is, about 10 years earlier I had told her if she every decided to sell it, I wanted to buy it from her. It had 32,000 miles on it at that time and was in really good shape, so I know it wasn't being beaten up. She forgot I ever said that though. When I found out she wanted to sell it, I was like "man, I wish I had known that before I bought this Tundra". I couldn't image owning both, but it was such a good deal that I didn't want it to get away. I figured if nothing else, I could make a few bucks off of it. I felt it was definitely worth more than the dealership had offered her. So I told her I would clean it up and either buy it or sell it for her, because it was just sitting in the garage collecting dust. She wasn't going to sell it that way.

Anyway, I found it needed a lot. Tires, brakes, timing chain, right front fender, front bumper, right front turn signal, detailing. But after I got it cleaned up and serviced, I decided to keep it. It only had 58,000 miles on it. So I put the Tundra up for sell and the first person who looked at it bought it. For $6000 more than I paid for it. That covered the price of the Sequoia and it's repairs. And a Sequoia is really just an enclosed Tundra with a third row, so I feel I got the best of both worlds. And other than the things I've listed, the Sequoia was in pretty good shape. Well, it was in pretty good shape for it's age. Only the driver's seat shown signs of wear. And it was always garage kept. And it was a higher trim level than my Tundra. One touch power windows. Automatic climate control. Two things I had gotten use to that my Tundra didn't have. Fits my current lifestyle better than a pickup also, with the grandkids and all. And I've pulled 12,000 pounds with it and it didn't complain too much. So I'm happy with it.

Anyway, here are some picture of the Sequoia.

The worst of the damage, the mileage, after the repairs, and the guy driving away with the Tundra. I didn't do too bad.
