    Read the entire thread. Like reading a book...starts by introducing a base truck build, climaxes in bad cancer scare, and back to base truck build.

    I respect how you didn’t go out and put it all on credit, but built it as you got the money. I also like how you repurposed what you had.

    Also, enjoying watching journey with the 2014. I like that you post more than just about the truck, let’s us that don’t you know get a better understanding of decision making process.

    Loved the CO scenery along the way, almost as pretty as KY.

    Thanks! I spent four+ years tinkering around with my 07. My 14 will most likely be the same. Hate using credit on my truck. Adds up too fast. More fun looking for good deals and thinking about things. I even change my mind. I was going to use my Pro Form Fab shackles on this truck. Bought some greaseable shackle bolts and put them on the shackles, at least tried to. The upper bolt for each shackle wouldn't line up. The jig must have been mis-aligned when the shackles were welded up. Never occurred to me to check them when I got them several months ago. I returned the shackle bolts. Going to save up for some ToyTec shackles. Should have just done that to begin with. Minor setback. I'm out only $50 for the Pro Form Fab shackles. Live and learn. :frusty:

    Get you some of these push clips and replace the Toyota Blaaaack ones. I had to replace my bulge after the damned original one flew off a few weeks ago. The Toyota clips were the culprit.

    I removed the lame TRD Off Road "decals" off my blaaaaaaackness bed a while ago......got a pair of these on the way.....maintaining blackout but in a refined way.
