Bro on the rear bumper does the top plastic come off first to show other bolts? I took the 4 bolts off each underside of the chrome and that shit doesn't budge haha

Sorry I didn't see your message till it was too late! It was a royal pain to get the rears off. If I knew where the bolts were it might have made it easier. I just remember barely fitting a wrench up inside to loosen the bolts. And as you now know the whole bracket comes off with the bumper corners. Putting them back on was a little easier tho since the plastic just snaps in place. Can't wait to see your finished pictures!

Yea dude I couldn't see shit for bolts after the 4 obvious ones at the corners. I ended up get a flat head screwdriver under the plastic and popping out the clips which broke most of them haha :) hopefully there are still enough of them to hold it securely.

Love this truck. I am very interested in the color of your wheels. My '17 is MGM, and I wonder how the titanium would look no it. Do you have any better pictures of the color of the wheels?

Thank you! I love my wheels also. They are definitely gray but from a far or in certain lighting conditions they can look darker or black. Hope these pictures can give u a better idea. Also check out page 1 of my build. There's a lot more pictures you can browse through.

Mounted my on board air compressor. Build a custom mount. Wired the switch right into the mount since I really won't need a switch inside the cab. Just using the compressor for airing up tires. Works great! Made another thread a while ago that has more details of my build progress.

Looks great Brandon. Just a thought........Go to Depot or Lowes, they make tons of different sizes of rubber caps. I found mine in the bins for furniture FEET. ( used under chairs etc.) Spec out the OD of the coupler on your compressor and get a dust boot. With your coupler pointing straight up, good place to collect dirt.

That's a great idea. Thanks for the tip! I definitely thought about the dirt getting inside as I tightened that quick disconnect. I got lazy and didn't want to re tape the treads. Haha it's on my list to fix though.

What is your opinion on this tire? How loud is it?

I think the Toyo RT is great. To me it isn't loud at all! More of the rough roads it has a slight hum but definitely not like some mud terrain tires. I had the Nitto Terra Grapplers before these on my Tacoma and those were quiet also. That's about all I have to compare to. If your concidering this tire I wouldn't be worried about noise.

I am all over on which tires I want. I know I want an AT as I had MTRs on my Tacoma, but I am not going any where near as wild of a build with this as I did the Taco. May stick to a 34ish vs a 35 for fuel economy.

Did I miss it as I didn't see if you color matched the grill yourself or is it the TRD Pro grill? If it's the TRD Pro, where did you get yours?

I removed the grill and surround myself. I brought it to a paint shop and they did all the color matching and painted my stock grille insert black. So far so good and I got everything painted for cheaper than the TRD pro grille alone.

Would like to add this to my truck (OBA), but fear an all year round application would not work the best being in Wisconsin weather? Any suggestions? Gets pretty cold and they use tons of salt on the roads. Not too sure how long this would last over time?

I personally do not own a welder as of now. I work in a Fab shop so I'm able to use the welder after hours. We have a few different models but they are all Miller dynasty TIG machines.

Well from my reaserch ARB has done lots of testing in hot cold and dirty applications. The compressor is rebuilable and inside the engine bay I don't think it would get damaged from outside weather. They designed the compressor for this exact application.

I've seen some people mount them inside the cab behind or under a seat. That may be an option for you. But my opinion I wouldn't be worried about hurting the compressor. Maybe give ARB a call and they will give you some better answers! Good luck and share what you come up with!
