    Problem:
4Lo, VSC, Tractin Control and Check Engibe light all on. 4Lo blinking.

Guys. I need help. Just drove 50 miles. Dropped off father in law at his shop and drove away. Before the first stop sign, the trucks instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree. 4Lo, VSC, Tractin Control and Check Engibe light all on. 4Lo blinking.

Did a sensor go out? Fuse? I searched and found nothing here. I also Googled, maybe it's a wheel sensor, ABS?

What pisses me off more is that yesterday I had the dealership do the Trans and Oil change. I never go there. Never trust them. I typically do the oils myself but this is my first Tundra that I bought privately and decided to do a service with a Toyota dealership.

So last night I unhooked the battery. This morning, plugged it back in. No more Lit Christmas Tree. Drove it for a few, nothing above 50. So far, so good.

Still need to resolve this. I read somewhere there is a bypass kit for this problem with the AIP. Anyone?

Sounds like air injection system. That sucks, don't know if you're covered, they extended the warranty for that system to 10yr/150k miles so not sure if your 2007 fits into it since it's now 10 years old.

I did do a write up. Go to the mods/tutorials tab and click on the first one, then it should be listed at the bottom of the first post.

Yea there is a bypass kit. Learned about it when I was researching this problem on my 1st gen. I would save some $$ and start there. Why fix something that the truck doesnt even need? Pretty sure all it does is help with emissions during a cold start.

    Ok, so here's an update.

Saturday- Truck Lights up like a Christmas tree. All symptoms pointed towards the AIP issue. Friday night, unplugged the battery.

Sunday- Plugged the battery back in and all the Warning Lights were cleared. Drove around, still good. Then Drove on the freeway and Engine light comes on. Only the Engine light though. Later on, borrowed an OB2 reader and I get 4 Codes. P0101, P0171, P0174, P0101. I get home and those codes say on the lines, Mix to Lean. I don't truck the truck, leave the battery alone.

Monday- I start the truck up, No Engine light on. I drive to work. No Engine Light. I push the truck hard for a bit (80/90mph) no Engine light on. I am Confused.

Also, leaving this Link here for future reference. http://hewitt-tech.com/store/ Just in case I need to do the By Pass Kit. Which I might just do anyways for preventive maintenance ;)

@LibertySand I had similar problem on my 2011 - Lit up like a Christmas tree. Turned out a Rat had chewed up some of the main harness. We tried to put it back together, but ultimately did a new main harness At the cost of about $700 installed. Find any rat turds under you hood?

No, all clean. I had the truck in at the Dealer the Friday before this weekend when all this mess took place. They also did a "Toyota 100 point Inspection". They added some water to my Windshield Tank. Checked my Brakes and told me the pads are low. Which by the way they measured the thickness of the pads. Not sure how they did that with the wheels still on. And the best part was they took air out of the tires to 36psi because thats what the Stock conditions are, yet the tires are 35" BFG's rated E and need 65 psi.

So maybe through their 100 point inspection they rubbed my truck the wrong way and she didnt like being touched like that? Who knows.

Its your mass air flow sensor. Mine lit up like a tree the same way on he freeway. I panicked and took it to my budy that works at avondale toyota. He pulled codes and it was that. Probably will happen again after it does the cycle. It went away right away after install

I'll have to stop by AutoZone on the way home and grab some Mass Flow Sensor Cleaner.

I was towing my RV into Anaheim and hit a small canyon sized pothole in the road in the dark. Truck was fine except dash lit up just like yours. I got to my campsite in Disney and opened the hood in the AM to find the air tube connected to the throttle body bounced off. Turns out it is the mass air sensor reading a problem sending the dash lights into a flurry. Disconnected battery for 5 mins after fastening air intake tube and problem gone. I expect your mass air sensor is done and needs to be replaced.

You have a "soft-code" that will intermittently appears and go away. After a few cycles, the code may clear itself from the ECU. it could be as simple as a plug-pin rattling out of position when you hit a bump then up pops the code,or the entire unit slowly going bad.

just me, .... the DIY link is a straight write up. Do an EBAY search if you can find that OEM part cheaper than stealership. the fix seems relatively simple. Do the fix. Don't wait then you ready for a trip and you are stranded $%%$##^%$ all the way on a tow truck.

And oh, nice color---- bought my 08 same color less than 30 days now.
