Well. Got home to find some shit fell and hit the tailgate on the tundra. Yay me. It’s one thing if it was just a scratch. Nope dented in and down to bare metal.

Guess I’m paying to paint the tailgate again. Shit sucks.

    I’m staying away from
Home tonight. Kinda pissed between this and someone shattering the window on my rav4 today

Holy crap, I remember that truck from the TS forums. I think his name was ChaseIntegra. I used to be nutty about that truck.

    Well that's a sh*t day. Sorry.
At least it will be easy for them to match the paint.

If you go the 'if one's bad replace the whole lot' route, there is a kit to replace all the p/s lines.
    BUT
There are also two lines on top of the steering rack - they are NOT part of the kit. They CAN be ordered separately from the rack.

BTDT, told the kit covered all (didn't), told the 2 lines only sold with the rack (wrong). "The more you know".

Sucks man, sorry to hear that. Sometimes you just have one of those days. [IMG]

I got my chemical guys leather cleaner and conditioner. Seems to have made some difference and it's not crazy slick or shiny. My driver's side seat was already a little dirty from the last month or so of just going to work. Looks like I'm going to need to keep up on this cleaning routine.

I'm not 100% sure but more than likely. You see, the stock radio has a wider faceplate that fills the dash opening without this trim piece. All aftermarket double dins are going to be about the same size faceplate-wise and are a little narrower than the stock unit that's why there are these trim pieces are offered.

You were going to have the cap painted to match anyway? Always better doing 2 jobs at the body shop at the same time. Better of a worse situation. :-/

We got some new tires(295/60R20), and now the lift is level! I had the driver's rear leak air out everyday until I replaced them. I'm guessing the sidewall got weak and bowed out more on that side. I still need to do the front lift(barely clearing front and rear while static), and u joint then she'll be done for a while. I reached out to VLEDs who explained the issue with my front parking lights only working as turn signals. Here is the page about it. https://www.vleds.com/ck/ Getting those fixed soon.

LOL. I might do that once I do my spring detail on the interior. For now, the sanding/cleaning of the shoulder d-ring and a good wipe of the belt has made a tremendous difference.

@because_wumbo-truck what type of drill bit did you use on the frame? I'm curious how that went. Looks great!

(Camper conversion underway.) Rebuilt engine w/265K miles, A.R.E. camper shell (w/cab pass-through, rooftop fan, and side windows delete), bedlinered steel ladder rack (w/wooden rooftop deck and hammock mount), all LED lights (red dash, 4" side floods, 32" rear bar), Android head unit, 1.5" lift from Bilstein 5100 struts, 32" DuraTrac tires on factory rims, 1.5" wheel spacers, Moog suspension parts, SuperSprings leaf kit, diff drop, Reese trailer brake control, GoRhino Hitch Step, debadged, F-150 rear bumper, Sequoia center console unit upgrade, partial rear bench seat delete, dashcam, aftermarket speakers, 50% sound deadening coverage, custom tools unit.
After letting 7oz of Seafoam do its job in the crankcase to hopefully loosen up some sludge for about a hundred miles, I did an oil change today. It came out all dark and burned. :O

Refilled with 7 quarts of Castrol 5w30 synthetic and an OEM Toyota filter. She's running goodly now, no more burning oil smell emanating from the engine bay. Cleaned out a lot of the grime from the lower engine, my newly-repaired valve cover gaskets must had been leaking for years, it was gross.
Also made a scrapyard run and picked up a little siren basically for free, which would be cool to wire to a panic switch in case city truck camping ever gets sketchy. Will have to do some research on this one.

As well grabbed two door checks there from a Sequoia that didn't have a ton of miles. They are exactly the same and held open pretty well on it, so I figure for $7 they are way better than mine (which like to slam on me if I'm parked on an incline more than 1 degree). I think new they are $50?
