I have a 2015 Limited and I am new to the whole lifted truck scene. After my RC 6 inch was installed, and even to this day, my front sits 2 inches lower than the rear, which confused me until I found out the installer left my Old Man Emu leaf springs from my previous lift on the rear (bought it like that). I don't notice any issues with it, some friends say if it don't bother you leave it, it won't cause harm. I also do not have my stock springs up front, it was the springs that came with the Old Man Emu set up. Not sure the difference between those and the stock, the installer asked if I had the stock springs and I said no, he said it was fine. I then asked if I could put a puck up front to level out the front and of course I get mixed answers, most say no. Just wondering what input you guys may have on this.

Stacking lifts isn't such a good idea, heard a few horror stories on here of guys breaking coilovers when that's done.

Yeah, I would try to lower the back instead of raising the front.

Find out what springs are up front ome usually a lift spring so that with a big spacer on top isn't going to last long especially without a cut crossmember the cvs are maxed

Wondering if I have those leaf springs removed if that would make the difference since they were left on

It's also the OME Springs up front. For the tire size, it's 35s

Yes, gonna be easier to make adjustments in the rear vs messing with the front. Just my 2c.

Yeah I figured the rear is where the change needs to come. Just curious with these coilover kits I see like king, icon, etc, besides ride quality, do they raise the front up, I see a lot people talking about different height settings and what not

Truck looks great, its not that bad. Me personally, I think 6" lift is to much. Even with your 35's they look a little small. Just a lot going on when you go that high.

Yeah they do look small, i do want to go with the readylift 8", but I hear upgrading to 37 or 38s require or it's recommended to regear. Some reason 6" lifts seem small, but I think I will stay there for now

One of the resident suspension experts will chime in at some point. All my suspension knowledge I have gained from this great forum. I did stay @ a Holiday Inn last night too. Seriously though Jetr1981, the rear would be the place to start, but how to do it right is a little beyond my capabilities

Tyfighter yeah I hear some people say that as well, I just know it's a 4 inch block, and I'm not sure how many inches a leaf spring does

Tyfighter that I am not sure. I know there are two options for that kit, add a leaf and pack of leafs, I have to go back and look. The OME pack of leafs have one extra leaf compared to the stock, I will look in the morning

If you have a 6 inch lift in the front and 4 inch blocks in the rear with spring, it sounds like OME Dakar springs (which are awesome springs, by the way). They give you 2 & 1/2 inches of lift in the rear, which would explain the rake. I would definitely keep the spring, and perhaps switch out 4-inch rear blocks with smaller blocks. (I personally do not like blocks, but I think 3-inch blocks are better than 4-inchers.)

Chphilo, yeah that would for sure make sense with the amount of rake. I really appreciate the info and I am going to replace the blocks if I do have the set of springs instead of the single. Can you replace the block with any name brand block? Again I'm a rookie so not sure.

Ditch the block completely keep the springs add some shackles it will level everything nicely and ride great
