Anyone on here do any trips to southern Utah for overlanding ? I don't really know anyone from the area and would like to see if anyone goes out in their tundra on the regular to go offroading/overlanding. Maybe get a trip together?

I do this currently , just makes me uneasy sometimes knowing that Im going by myself if something happens. Or if i get stuck and cant make a self recovery.

This is something I would like to do more of this summer! I'm getting things setup for a slick semi-overlanding capable truck!

First time owning a truck. I had a grand cherokee before this and it was fun to roll around in, but I beat that poor thing up! I'm hoping to get some fun use out of this and keep is relatively nice for a while. We'll see though.

I don't do anything too crazy. I'm stock suspension and 33inch tires on 20s. I do explore though. Have a trip planned this may with a buddy of mine from texas to do some trails out near hanksville and then all of the skyline drive trail. Nothing crazy

I still want to go on drive the whole skyline drive trail. I've only ever been to that upper parking lot on the bountiful side.

Not the skyline trail I'm talking about. I'm referring to the skyline trail from tucker utah down to i70

The entrance in bountiful was pretty rough, but the rest of the drive up to the parking lot was nice. I didn't go past that. I haven't heard of the one you were referring too.

ooh, that would be fun! I remember reading somewhere about a network of trails that lets you drive from the 4 corners region all the way to bear lake, pretty much entirely on trails and backroads. That would be something I want to look more into doing at some point.

My son and I went up to skyline last year. It was still too early though and the trail was solid snow about 15 miles in. I was in the old f250 then KIMG1017.jpg

Some of the guys at work were just talking about some of the trails they've been on in the Uintas. Might have to go check some of those out as well!

Once I get the bed rack finished, I'm planning on spending some more time studying google earth, making trail plans and doing some exploring. It'd be fun to make a few trail videos as well.
