    Welcome from CT

Can't help with the quicksand, only advice is: Go with that voice in your head, not what you hope! It is still a BA truck, but it's color is not for everyone.

On the DH bike side of things...

You'll love the quicksand color, highly recommend looking at the Quicksand Alley page on this site, it has tons of great builds/pics of quicksand Tundras

Only problem with quicksand is you can’t see them out in the desert. Here’s a quicksand truck that went wheeling with us. We ended up losing the truck.

@fisherman951 Sad to say that within the 3 hour window of me leaving the dealer,(to take a look at a CrewMax PRO) they sold the Quicksand. She must’ve heard me say I was going to look at another truck. So she let someone else take her home. But I have a line on another PRO model but she’s the Cement color. So maybe I’ll have to join a different color gang once I acquire this dang truck.

@Toyotoholic, I’m fairly certain I’d have been happy with the color choice. I was really a little more concerned about buying a double cab over a CrewMax. But at this point I just love the TRD PRO edition of the Tundra. Just a little more time until the right one finds me. I dig your Jedi, she looks stout. I’ve seen a few at the bike park but never ridden one personally. Nice to see some shredders on here though.

I personally like the Quicksand, but ONLY on the PRO. I also think the DC is a better looking over the CM, it is proportionally correct. The 6.5 bed allows you to put 3 or even 4 bikes IN THE BED instead of racked or laying down. I have a 17' CM now and to put 2 bikes in the bed, the tailgate has to go down... That sucks for gear in the bed flying out. My 06' was a CM with the 6.5' bed... That was perfect for bikes and are gear. These are 2 more of mine and a buddy's Jedi (I have several lol!)

    Good luck!

@Toyotoholic i totally agree about the double cab proportions. I like how they look too. And I do like a 6’+ bed. Looks like we may frequent the same park. Is that pic at Mountain Creek ?

Yes. Mountain Creek, fun place for sure. I've been going to Thunder MTN too, I love hitting the Ft Hill Pro line.

Welcome from RI. Did you ever ponder the idea of adding the other 2 colors for the camouflage look?

2EA85044-7D45-4F9F-8237-D90F282341E3.jpg Well, it’s not Quicksand in color but I am very happy that I finally found a Tundra Pro. Traveled 4 hours to find her but she was delivered today so I’m ecstatic ! I bought a 2016 in MGM ! First order of business is Lund step bar removal and NFAB Podiums instead.
