Heck yeah! I sell tons of Ridge grapplers at work but up until now I’ve had no first hand experience of noise or ride quality. In all honesty I am very happy with them. Noise is about the same as the BFG KO2 (I couldn’t care less about noise though, LOL) and ride quality is a ton better. I won’t know if it’s because I went from a 20 to an 18 or exactly why the ride is better but, I wouldn’t ever want to go back to what I had.
Happy to hear that you like yours!

I've been running BFG'S for 99% of my adult life, just put a set of 275/65 18's on my truck, e rated. I wish BFG made that size is a different rating. I'm seriously considering selling them and trying the ridge grapplers in the XL load range. They are 10lbs lighter than my BFG'S per tire and probably will ride alot better.

I would check and possibly lower the air pressure before doing much else. An E load range tire can ride just fine on a half ton but proper air pressure is a must.
What do you have them set at?

I checked the other day, it was 40 all the way around. Dropped the front to 38 and the rear down to 36. Made a helluva difference, much better. It's crazy what 2&4 lbs will do.

Nice looking truck. Looking to do almost the same setup. If you could change anything from your setup what would it be?

Would go 35x12.5 now and just grit my teeth and cut the cab mount. That’s it though. If I felt like spending more money I woulda got a real lift instead of a level

2012 with Bilstein 5100s on middle setting on the front. Added TRD Pro wheels and 275/70/18 Cooper AT3s. I found out I get a little rub at full lock I think on the skid plate but haven't confirmed yet. I'm happy with the look.20200222_075816.jpg 20200222_080353.jpg

Ordered some matte black 18x9 Method Grids today, and I’ve seen people mentioning ET lugs. Do I need ET lugs with Methods, and does anyone have any recommendations on a set of black ones? Thanks guys!

Going to be doing a 3 inch lift with 33x12.5 tires. Wheels are going 18x9 with a +30mm offset, will that offset cause any rubbing or require trimming. Thanks in advance for the help.

More than likely, yes. I would plan to use ET lugs but test fit one in the lug holes before mounting anything. Make sure a. the ET portion doesn’t extend past the back mounting face of the wheel and b. the hole is large enough to accept the ET lugs. Icon wheels are the only ones that I know of that are designed to not require ET lugs. Your mileage may vary. ;)

Scuba trucks looks awesome. Thanks for the pics. This is the setup I've been looking for. I have a 2014 DC with these wheels and have been wondering if I'm going to need spacers or not. I'm looking at 295/70/18 so slightly shorter and slightly wider but should be close to what you're running. Sounds like I may get away without the spacers but its gonna be tight.
Can anyone tell me if the body mount will have less or more clearance with the Spidertraxx spacers? I'm fine with manipulating the inner fender as I've done that on my previous Tundra but want to avoid doing a BMC.

Thanks man! I dig the look of the 285’s and the stock wheels make the truck look more high class. They are super close to the UCA. I honestly don’t think a 295 would work but I could be wrong. I think I may still add a 1” or 1.25” spacer. Having the 285’s tucked completely in the fender looks a little odd from the front.

I have run KO2s (35’s) on a couple of trucks and they are a bear to balance. If you can get them right they do well in ice and snow.

I saw the New Toyo Open Country AT3 just came out. I may go that route. I really want to just step up to a 35x12 but i fear i may be into the body chop mod and upper control arm swap at that tire size

Figured I'd share this here as it took some searching, only found 1 or 2 people that have done this. Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/55/R20 on stock Platinum wheels and stock suspension. Fits just fine. No trimming rubbing anything like that. Not a fan of most wheel options out there and especially not crazy about wheel poke past the fenders. Happy with the outcome.

You have no rubbing issues? Did you have to modify anything so they wouldn't rub. You have same tire size that I'm leaning towards. Truck looks great.

A tiny bit when wheel cranked all the way to the left, then when I pit on my new +25’s, I had to remove the small front mud flap attached to the bumper.
