Not sure about the tire size. Thinking you'll be OK.

TRD wheels will need new lugs, maybe take-offs will come with some; @Roman can quote you. Thinking new TPMS sensors may be needed, steelies may have different style than alloy. @Roman can verify.

I believe you should be fine with 275/70/18 and you don’t need new lugs for OEM TRD alloy wheels since I’ve done that with my friend truck. Although you would need new tpms since the tpms on the steel wheels has different angle.

Just secured my quote for Cooper AT3 XLT's in 295/70/18. Discount Tire saved my quote in their system and the store mgr gave me a discount, but I can't get them on until later this month. I need to install my shims and +3 shackles from Coachbuilder first to get another 1" of clearance to fit them. Looking forward to these! Still rolling on the factory tires right now with just over 55K on them.

I finally got a couple days of snow storms to test out these tires. I have to admit the Coopers were my second choice as I really wanted the additional comfort from the WildPeak tires (mainly because they were three peak snow flake rated). Several retailers did not have the size I wanted to run so I went with the AT3’s.

Light Snow (Ice Underneath) they handle just like any other tire I’ve owned with the exception of studded tires, but that’s (apples vs. oranges). The AT3s tracked well on unplowed roads and I felt confident in keeping in my lane and being able to stop. Even when I started to drift it was easy to get the truck back under control.

Moderate to Heavy Snow (unsure about Ice) This is where I was completely blowed away with how well they handled. Changing lanes across 6+ inches of slush and snow and I wasn’t afraid I would be spin out. Traction was good along with confidence in stopping.

This is just my interpretation but I would buy these tires again. While I’m sure the WildPeaks perform just as well with the added snow rating and unable to compare the Coopers are a capable All Terrain tire.

Got my XLT's on yesterday with TRD Off Roads from America's Tire. 275/70/18 with stock suspension and no rubbing issues so far (made a few u-turns as well). So far i am impressed with how quiet they are, and love the look. The size i got do have the three peak snow flake rating, which will be nice on my snowboarding trips.

I had a little bit of an issue with the tpms sensors from the TRD wheels. They were take offs from a 2020, and when they tried to program them, they weren't reading at the same frequency to my 2017 Tundra (according to the AT guys). The sensors from the stock steel wheels didn't work either due to the angle.

I am about to pull the trigger on these XLT's myself.
My truck came with the Vision +18 20's and 285/55/20's and they look small on my truck. In this pic, I had not done the 5100's yet.
I have the 5100's on top setting and have plenty of clearance. Looking at my truck, do you think I can squeeze a 305/55?
According to my measurements, I have about 1.6" clearance front and back of the tire before touching the inner fender. Mudflaps are gone.

I have 285/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers with 35k miles, and am not enjoying what has been happening. Tread life would suggest I have 10k - 15k miles of life left, but as miles have piled up they have become loud, and rough, they are chipping and cupping. I am diligent with maintaining air pressure and rotating, these tires are not what I was hoping for. Most critical is the worsening traction on any wet road conditions. I am looking to replace them very soon. Thinking AT3 XLT's, want to learn more about Yokohama's also.

I think I have decided... 275/70-18 Cooper AT3 XLTs will be my tire of choice. Just going to wait on some deals from DTD to get em!

What size lift/level are you running? What trimming was needed to fit if any? Mine will be going on Friday same size (295/70/18) and also on stock rims. Just curious what needed to be done to fit them. Thanks!

I have 2.4 inches in the front from spacer/co's and 1.25 in the rear from shackles. I had someone trim for me before tires went on. Both mud flaps are gone in the front and some trimming on the inner fender liner. Not sure if all that was needed but I have no rubbing at all and tires cleared the upper control arms and rear Bielstein shocks and reservoir hose. I have heard that all you really need to take off is the front mudflap. Start there and see what else needs trimming.

Perfect, thanks for the response. I'll be at +3.5" in the front and about +1.75" in the rear. I'll remove the front mud flaps before I take it in to Discount Tire. You're not running any wheel spacers are you?

You will both be very happy with them. The weight, the warranty, the sound and the smoothness is awesome compared to a lot of other tires out there.
I’m guessing with those sizes your PSI should start at 40. Then work down from there.
