I’ve been running these for a bit now and so far I’m pretty happy with them, and they do really great in the rain, snow/ice.

Are you running the LT or S rated tires? The tacoma guys say the LTs arent good in the snow, supposedly a different compound. I just bought LTs but we havent had snow since I got them.

I think on a Taco or 4R the LT compound would be too hard, but for our larger trucks it works great. They have the 3 peak symbol even in LT so I bet it’s just too heavy a tire on too light of a truck with those folks.

I like the Falken’s but a 275/70/R18 weighs 60 Lbs compared to a KO2 at 53 Lbs and Nitto Grapplers at 58 Lbs. Not a whole lot of a difference but still 28 extra pounds than the KO2.

Discount said that (nationwide backorder) but still said they were able to find 4 by using 2 different warehouses and they'll be in by the end of the week. Pretty stoked!

Good luck. Same number that was available a month ago. I was looking for 5 anyways. Let us know if you get the last 4!

Lol, yeah I'm not holding my breath or anything, but some of the other guys on here that have used this store said they know their shit. So maybe? Worst case scenario for me, I've still got perfectly good tires and I'll just run those until the Falkens are back in stock.

Are you not getting a full size spare? I’m in the situation of my goal is back country so I’m not chancing a small spare in an off road situation. Found a matching rim on CL for $75 and boom, I feel better about life. E8D086D1-B011-4A2D-8C93-0B8C452EE06B.jpg

Omg the Wildpeak are the jams. Finally spun out in a real world situation today. We have had so much rain and I was driving around the city all day. I spun and drifted so many times with my BFG within 10k I sold them.
Guessing most are aware of the east coast weather lately. It’s been flooding like crazy.

I've got a used 35x12.5 I'm going to run as a spare. The tread on it is low enough that the size should be pretty close. I might eventually get a matching tire, just wasn't super concerned about it at this point. If I ever start doing real off road travel/camping/etc like I want to, I'll bump up the priority on that.

I’m impatiently awaiting my FWC Raven shell so my build is centered around that
As long as you’re not like the Jeep wranglers around here with no spare at all! WTF.

have the at3w in the 315 70r17, love them, they seem to hold up better than the k02's, snow rated and super quiet on the road, you wont regret them.

So that 4th one never showed. Guess I got lucky that the first 3 showed up. The guy at Discount said that the nationwide inventory is all jacked up, where the system says a given warehouse has 1 or 2 of a tire, but there's no actual physical inventory there. I finally went into the store and we got a 4th tracked down at a store in Texas. Should be here end of this week or early next week, for real this time...

Please report back how they hold a balance. My BFGs were great on my last truck, but we’re constantly out of balance.

I'll take note of that over the next few weeks/months. I finally did some highway driving today and the balance is perfect, though time will tell if that holds up.

I had a really noticable shimmy at 60-70mph with my old tires, so it's great that's gone for now at least.

My installer noted they were fine to balance “for the size.” 285/75r18. My previous 275/70r18 tires were also smooth riding and had no notable issues to balance.both at3w

I’ve had mine on since Black Friday. Haven’t had any issues other than last time I hit dirt I may have lost a wheel weight lol

BFG’s are rough to balance tho @14burrito can attest
