New here, just bought an 06 doublecab and it had a billet grill insert installed (full factory grill cut out). Didn't really care for the full 3rd party look, but with the addition of a couple chrome emblems from Ebay, I think it's right mix of custom OE. (The pics show the emblems temp. held in place with zipties...)

Looks better without the emblems. Just my opinion. You do you.

This is awesome. I’m looking at mesh or billet, but most mesh I’m finding are pricier and require more work. Thinking billet and plastidip black, looks like that’s what you did here no? Also that TOYOTA badge is sick. Where’d you get, and how did you secure sufficiently with zip ties?? Thanks!!

Looks good. Ive got a billet on my 1st gen sequoia and i like it. Personally it looks alot cleaner without the emblems, but thats up to you.

A couple of different modeling looks with and without badge. Also, chrome trim and color matched trim.

    Thanks.
I bought this black billet grill on Amazon or eBay. It was like $50. Iirc
Solid built quality. Already came painted black.
The emblem is from an FJ Cruiser I think. Also bought on eBay or amazon.
The back side has a hole in the middle O. I found a small screw and washer to hold it in place. The T and the A have little tabs that I had to trim. I secured those to the grill with a.little gorilla glue. So far it's held on for about a year. No issues.

I like how the color match still has a little contrast. Looks nice.
