I am planning to get a 6" rough country lift installed. Not sure the tire and rim set up yet but apparently you can run the stock ones. Any input or advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
    Neil.

Hello Neil I have a '14 CM with a rough country 6" lift...I'm running 35*12.50*20 no rub no cab mount chop or trimming...But in all honesty it's a rough ride I don't really like it don't get me wrong it looks great but ride wise No...also your turning radius decreases and I don't like the CV axle angels as well (at joints or where they pivot) I'm saving funds for a TOYTEC BOSS kit I believe 35s fit someone else will chime in good luck

I don't have the Boss installed yet, but 35s will fit, but may require CMC depending on your wheel offset. I plan to get it done just to avoid any hassles later on. But plenty of other guys on here that already have it done and could give you better factual info.

If you really have your heart set on the Rough Country lift, I would log off this site and never come back because you're about to get some strong opinions on why to get something else.

IMO the only reason you go for a 6" lift is if you plan on running 37's. If you want to run 35's, you only need a 3/1 suspension lift (Toytec, Kings, Icon, etc.) with the +12 to +30 mm offset wheels, and you'll likely need aftermarket UCAs.

Save yourself the money and buy something different. Rough Country is cheap for a reason...

I'd definitely spring for a suspension lift over anything else. IMO a 3/1 lift with 35's looks so much better than a 6" with 35's.
Can't stand overdone lifts with underdone tires. To each their own, but I'm more of a ride comfort guy and 6" rough country won't give you that.
