Unfortunately, not in this case. Look how the dap tune stacked up to stock... I was pretty disappointed.

Drivability with dap was good though.

Driveability was what I was looking for, and DAP delivered as promised.

Good luck with OVT and it's kinks, I'm sure it's what those looking for more, more, more are looking for.

DAP is tuning 18s now and here is a sample of what to expect with their Stage 3:

OVT MPG: 2/3 tank fill, 90% highway/10% city, Tow/Haul ON whole time - 14.8 MPG. I will update with Tow/Haul OFF.

My DAP tune is adjusting well to my new cat back exhaust, and I'm loving it!

I didn’t know the tune would adjust to the new exhaust. What is to be expected?

The truck feels livelier, so I am assuming the tune adjusted to the bump in peak power the cat back makes. True or not, it certainly feels better to me.

It definitely does...and Dustin knew I was tuned before I got ARH’ed - said the tune would adjust. More low end torque for sure - she will put you in your seat if you get on her in the lower RPM band. Nothing like having a BB sound in a Tundra

Just a quick update: MPG that I'm experiencing after about 2-3k miles is: 14.1 / 15.1. If I remember right, this seems to be about 1 MPG lower than what I had with DAP. I think both tunes have something to offer.

The DAP tune will eventually adjust to changes on the exhaust and intake side, but in order to get the full effect from my new cat-back and AER air filter I disconnected the negative battery cable for two hours and allowed the ECU to re-flash. This speeds up the learning / adjusting curve, and it was well worth the effort.

Does a dap tune work with a pedal commander?
