I have a question about jacking up my truck...

    So I'm doing my first lift kit on my 2001 tundra.
    I finished the front but now I can't get the wheels on because I cant jack it up high enough.
    I have a 3 ton floor jack, but it keeps trying to slide out from under the subframe once it gets to a certain height.
    How can I jack up my truck? Thanks

    You could put wooden blocks underneath It. Is it the roller type jack?

    grab a wood block and put it between the jack and the frame and then throw a jack stand underneath.

    (this is just for reference. I am not saying to lift your truck on the oil pan)

    Yes it is a roller type.

    The thing is
    its not that the jack wont go high enough, its that the truck gets at such an angle because the rear is stock and the front is now lifted 5 inches higher

    Put the rear end up on jackstands. Place the jackstands underneath the axle. Then Jack the front up then it won't be so cranking to the back so much.
