Brakes pull right, new calipers, pads, and, lines

    Hi new to the forum trying to find help. My 2001 4wd toyota tundra at 250k miles, pulls right when I brake. I just changed both calipers and it still does it, I went ahead and changed the pads while I did, rotors appeared to be fine. And it still does it. I took it to a brake shop to have everything inspected and they said it would be a matter of process of elimination and to change the lines, so I did that myself. Still does it. Suspension seems to be fine I just put a lift kit on and had and alignment done after but did not change the issue at all and my suspension seems to be in perfect condition when I took it apart. So new calipers, new pads, new lines, it is fully aligned, my suspension is good...and yes I've bled them. Any ideas before I go to a shop again? Thanks for anyone who took the time to read this

    did you bed the pads? years ago I put brakes on my Camaro, didnt bed the pads. It stop poorly and pulled. 5 minute fix from my friend whom was a technician at a nearby chevrolet dealer. LOLs

    Maybe a clog. Take the hose off the caliper and push hard on the brake pedal and blow it out. Maybe a fluid flush. Check the rear brakes as well.

    Lift, Rims, Bigger Tires, Nerf Bars, Black Out Emblems
    Appearances can be deceiving. You have a braking problem and change everything but the rotors. Change the pads and rotors.

    Correct, always change the rotors with pads.......but 1% chance that's the problem.

    I agree with @zombie and @PCJ, you should change the rotors cause you've updated everything else on the wheel brake wise. I would just go ahead and change the rotors and pads together (even though you just replaced the pads), cause it's not that expensive ($65 and up for rotors and pads) and easy to do...be sure to bed the pads.

    Now, if your problem happens to be that your glazed a rotor with your old calipers that were sticking, this may solve your problem, if not, my money is on a worn suspension/steering part on the side your pulling to...good luck. :thumbsup:

    Recently have this same issue but mine occurred after a tire flip on new wheels. They might have kinked a brake line somehow. Don’t know if tires would only pull while breaking. ‍♂️ Still trying to figure it out. Don’t want to throw money brakes if I don’t need to. Let us know if you find the issue ! Thanks!

    It was the tires, right side tires were balled on an edge

    Sweet. Looks like time for a new set for me. Or my excuse but I’m almost positive I have this same issue. I have new upper control arms coming to help the geometry with the level kit up front and hopefully a little less tire wear. 285s this time. Lol

    That sounds like a symptom of the problem that may contribute to the symptom of pulling to the right while braking, not the problem itself. Tires wear unevenly because there is a problem with the suspension/steering/alignment. After you add the new tires get it aligned and hopefully it's just an alignment issue and not a worn suspension/steering component that needs to be replaced.

    @speedtre the ball came from a long time ago, I got the tires like that and the alignment was off, so I rotated the tires and had an alignment this is where they've sat since then.

    Hell yeah iv seeing it a bunch of times in the shop guys throw money at the brakes and then turns out they had a bad alignment !! I’m glad it worked man!!
