Hey new to the group... Switched from years of GMC. 2015 Crew max...I am buying new tires ASAP. Installing a 3/1 level lift this week and plan on keeping the stock TRD 18s. What is the largest size tire I can run with out any significant mods?

You should be ok with 295/70/18 seems to be a popular choice for 18s. I've also seen 305/65/18 on @BlueBottle truck. @Sean266 is running 35s on his with 3.5" lift.

With the stock wheels you're going to need wheel spacers or you're going to rub your uca's.

What would I need for off set and back spacing to run a 34 or 35? Can you go down to a 17" wheel or stay 18" or larger

Welcome. Some 17" work and some don't because of the calipers. Stock rock warrior rims are 17". Stock trd rims are et 60. I used 1.25" spacers on stock rims to get something like et 28.25. I'm running 295 70 18 Cooper stt pro and had to remove the mud flaps and should do the CMC. My truck is lifted between 3 - 3.5". The stock skid plate will need some minor trimming as well. The trucks differ slightly and these are just my experiences.

    See fine print
offset of +18 to 25 seem's to be the sweet spot for fitting larger tires on 3" lift on our trucks. With my 305/65/18's, I had to remove both forward and rearward mud flaps on the front wheel and trim and push forward the wheel liner. with 35" tires, there is a great chance you will rub on the frame.

This is how close mine is on my current setup

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
35, you can always fit a 35. Just takes a bit of work depending on the lift.

To the best of my knowledge, the only 17" wheels that will work on our trucks are the Rock Warrior and Method wheels

Well it's all done and my nerves can rest easy now haha. Supreme Suspensions 3/1, 295/70/18 Nitto G2's on stock TRD wheels. Only rubbing was on the skid plate and the sway bar at full lock. After the alignment it only rubbed the skid plate. I cut the affected area off and seems to be fine with no issues now. Will have to work the suspension to see if there is rubbing with flexing. It looks like there won't be.

Looking into Exhaust for the next addition ... any recommendations on a dual cat back system that won't break the bank?
