You are correct. I had the same question and @Roman said that they catalog just hasn’t been updated to show 2017.

First time, it took me about 40-50 minutes to remove the existing grill, remove the centers from both original and the new one and switch and reinstall the grill. When you raise your the hood, there are (4) 10mm bolts and (2) plastic fasteners across the top that need removed. After removing, you loosen the top of the grill from the truck then, from the bottom of the grill, pull out each side straight towards you. Keep the bottom of the grill from resting on the bumper below so you don't scratch the black plastic piece on the bumper like I did. This is all good practice since removing the grill is the best way to replace headlight bulbs and fog light bulbs. I've removed mine several times and it now takes me less than 5 minutes. Also be careful when removing the center to avoid breaking some of the plastic clips molded into the parts. Don't worry it you do snap 2-3 of them since there are more than enough to hold the parts securely even at highway speeds. Even the dealers manage to break them sometimes.

@NJMIke Thanks for the prompt advice. Judging from your truck picture. You have the same mod I have in mind. Looks great!

Since that picture was taken, spring 2016, I had a guy run a stop sign as I was crossing the intersection and I T-boned him at low speed. One of the headlights, the grill and most of the bumper was damaged and need replaced. Had the body shop replace both headlights with the TRD Pro headlights, the hood bulge & main grill with surround painted to match my truck. What the hell, someone else was paying for it and those parts in painted finish VS chrome were actually a little lower in cost. Only chrome on the front of the truck now is the center of the headlight and the bumper ends.

That is correct. The entire grille must be purchased as that is the only way Toyota will sell it.

I used a small flat head to remove the surround from the insert, and had it apart in about 5 minutes without breaking anything the first time I swapped them. It's not hard, you just have to be as gentle as you can to not break a tab. Even if you do break one or two, it's not a big deal.

@Roman Is it true that the TRD grille is now available in barcelona red with the 2017 models. I have a 2015 SR5 in barcelona red and really love the look of the TRD grille and am thinking about getting one but would want it to be color matched. Would this one fit on my 2015? Thanks for the help!

Sure, I can have a set painted for you. Shoot me a PM with your email address and if your truck is a double cab or Crewmax, and I'll send you a quote.

Definitely one of the threads I'm looking for. Just picked up (or on the truck now) a 2015 platinum Tundra that needs some love. Want to put the TRD Pro grill on it, but don't want color matched. Anyone know if they make matte black, or if the color matched black looks okay against a gray car?

Also, any leads on a place to get it in Los Angeles; the shipping from Cool Springs is a killer.

According to many other Toyotas sites the Bulge Assembly Hood 76180-0C030-C1 is Black Mica but Cool Springs with the same part number is black 202. I am so confused.

Toyota does not make any of the grilles in flat black.

76180-0C030-C1 is the part number on the black hood bulge with paint code 202.

Roman, is the Toyota insert a different color of black than the surrounding grill and grill bulge for the 202 color code?

The insert is a flat black color, and the surround is painted.

I just ordered a 202 black pro grille from you today. Are these in stock? I didn't see any sort of stock indicator when ordering. Hell... maybe the pic of the one you posted above is on its way to me. :D

Correct, at least not from Toyota. I can have it painted for you, though.

No sir. They are all still on back order. I am getting them quicker than I had been, though. It's only taking 1-2 weeks now, where last month it was 3-4 weeks.

    It sure does. :D

Pretty much all of them are, unfortunately.

Not quite yet. All of the ones I have been getting in have been ordered by someone already.
