What is the master warning light? There are like 73 different lights that could go off. 73 is an exaggeration but it is a lot. Got pics?

    Master warning light[1]
    Follow the correction procedure.
After taking the specified step to correct the suspected problem, check that the warning light turns off.

    Warning light/details:

    Master warning light
A buzzer sounds and the warning light comes on and flashes to indicate that the master warning system has detected a malfunction. Consult your Owner‘s Manualfor more information.

The User Manual does not give specifics as to the "Malfunction". Call dealer in the morning.

Mine has done this a couple of times. Also the adaptive cruise and pcs were not working. Problem was fog over the camera in front of the rear view mirror. Stopped truck, turned off, cleaned windshield: problem solved.

Yikes, curious to find out what that’s all about. The only time I ever seen a light joined with an alarm was when my 2-stroke outboard is way low on oil, a high water alarm from a vessel sinking, a general alarm from a shipboard fire, and when my wife doesn’t put on her seat belt. Doesn’t sound good.

It’s new, needs to get broken in the whole system that is, just little glitches. Disconnect battery let it sit for a little, look in fuse box make sure all fuses are in tight. Reconnect battery see happens. Any check engine lights on is if so pull or keep truck running put gear in N shut off, restart truck. I believe it’s just system breaking in. Resting it may help with 1 thing I said. Play around with. Still have problems warranty will cover. Make sure grounds are tight too.

Yes on my wife’s atlas the snow covered sensors and car went wacky. Technology is good but it seems to be muck at the same time. I want to go back to real steel and fine tuning with a screwdriver, and open engine bay knowing what wires go where. Zillions of wires tapping off everything. Wife’s vw open that hood and your like wtf. 4 pos terminals 2 negs, along with some kind of block terminal, what looks like a computer next to the battery. Glad I have a tundra, also vw all toque heads. Nope dealer that bullshi

The constant buzzing sometimes is just the parking sensors if they are covered with snow, you can just shut the parking sensors off, it's a button on the dash to the right of the steering wheel.

Definitely sounds like a "fire onboard the vessel" kind of alarm to me...Yota shudda' gone with that grating klaxon buzzer every second.

A little bit of an over reaction, don't you think?

Did you do any research before you bought it? If so, you know it's not a shitty truck. If you didn't, you're an idiot.

Take it to the dealer, have them fix/reset it and you'll be good to go

It’s not the same noise as the parking sensor. When I start up the truck, a picture outline of the entire truck shows up on the display and stays there while the warning exclamation point flashes yellow and the buzzer like warning beeps constantly. I am in California so no snow, and it’s not raining when this happened. Should be broken in, truck has 1K miles. I will take it in on Monday.....reason I’m so pissed is I jumped from Ford F-150 because I had issues with it and went to Toyota due to its good reliability. Not so excited that I gotta take the truck in when it’s freaking brand new.

Yes I did do my research, when I purchase a new product I expect it to function properly. Read my post properly......it states that it’s “shitty” that this occurred (is occurring), didn’t say it’s a shitty truck. Idiot is an interesting choice of words to throw out on a forum where someone is looking for help. But then again, you’re behind a keyboard.

Thats completely understandable. I think most of us would agree with you and also be very frustrated. I also think most of us would also agree that if you give the tundra a chance it will win you over.

I know this doesn't help but being that you got a brand new model you also kinda get the newest features that have a higher chance of having bugs in the system that will need to be worked out.

Give the dealer a chance to exorcise all the assembly demons.

I predict you'll look back a few years from now and realize that you've done nothing to your Tundra but feed it gasoline, routine maintenance, tires, and a battery or two. (That battery one IS coming in the not-too-distant future, so don't be surprised). You may not even remember that time your Tundra's nannies got their panties in a twist, and the dealer had to tweak it.

When I read "Shitty, brand new truck". I'm reading the shitty as describing the truck, not the situation. My choice of the word idiot, stands for anyone who didn't research before buying any new vehicle..in this case, you are NOT an idiot, as you did in fact do research on it.

If you had said "it's shitty this happened", it comes across differently. Too many people lately having one thing go wrong and then they want to throw the towel in and declare the Tundra a POS in a new thread.

My truck isn't perfect either and I've had warning lights go off that were unexplained and a couple things I'll have the dealer look at when I take it in for service #1.

Sorry if I came across crotchidy. Hope it all works out for you. Sometimes posts and threads can be misconstrued or taken out of context, depending on where a comma is placed or a word is auto corrected.

I wonder if maybe it’s a camera or TSS connectivity issue.

Yes......they said it was a bad hood latch that triggered it. Kinda weird, but they fixed it and flawless since. Very happy it was something so minor, but that dang buzzer and flashing light is something I hope to never see again in this truck.

Yours is a bit of an overreaction don't you think?. Even if someone does research they can can still get a shitty truck. My 04 tundra, a great truck 230k miles and still going. My 2019 Tundra not so good. 55k miles and problems

I had to look up the post he quoted me on as I didn't remember posting anything like that recently.

Saw it was 2022, thought that was 2 years ago, turns out it's 3 now.

I'm glad it was minor. My 2019 did the same thing a few days ago. Flashing yellow triangle, buzzer, no message with it just flashing light and buzzer. Someone on here suggested a hood latch. I will take to dealer it maybe the same issue. It seems odd that a hood latch would cause a warning light.
