I agree. I’m really looking forward to having the equipment trailer fully loaded and heading to the flat lander version of mountains. My elevation change will only be 1700 feet or so but it’ll still be a long pull up hill fully loaded in summer temps.

So I got my new obd2 adaptor and everything is working now on my 2020 so I can confirm that the Fusion app will work on the new truck.

Yes but thank jtwags for the dash. He designed and sent it to me. PM him, he might be willing to share. I very much like the gear indicator and when there is a green ring it indicates the torque converter is locked.

Ah - well awesome jtwags! I still haven’t been able to get my iPhone Max to play nicely with the OBD2 WiFi with the Fusion app. So I still have the kinda lame looking car scanner app screen like I posted above. I’m not a tech guy at all... I’m going to try to download Fusion again in the summer when I do the summer temp tests.

I would post to the forum but it won't allow the file type to be saved. So if someone wants it PM me and I will send a dropbox link.

I think the great lock indicator is pretty cool. Learned that the torque converter unlocks when coasting down a hill.

I think there is a way to add a numeric min and max as well. I might go back and try that as it would be nice to know at a glance what the max was during the drive.

For the life of me I can't figure out how you got the scale to go up by 10s? If you look at the AT gauges they are actually your gauges that I tweaked a little. Raised the temp up to 300, increase the size of the value and moved the title. The coolant one is my creation but my scale is random.

Also how did you change the font on the gear indicator? I wouldn't mind changing my bat V to match.

You have to play with the min and max under Display Configuration until you get the desired increments to show. That is why some of the gauges i did start at 90 rather than zero. It is a little screwy the way the app determines what will display depending on the display configuration values.

Use the "style" selection and you can change size, color and position. Be sure you are selecting the gear and not the tc lockup gauge by using the "send to back" option

Sorry by font I meant the style of the number. My battery number is different than the gear indicator number. I'm trying to get the bat # to look like the gear #.

Hmmmm. My guess is you would need to change the gauge Display Type, but not really sure.

I thought you had changed the style of the number but I guess there isn't a way to change it. Just the style when you choose that pid.

Is parking radar distance available as a numerical distance? I can’t seem to find it.

I recall seeing a distance pid selection but I think it was for the 2018+ millimeter radar for new tss system and not the parking radar.

If you come across anything please let me know. Was hoping to get distances to show when parking to go along with the beeps.

I tried “vehicle distance” under Radar Cruise 2 on my 2018 and it gives me a number but it feels off (real life feels shorter than the distances shown). It’s also of little value as it only appears to work at traffic speeds.

I dont believe that the data provided from the proximity sensor is capable of measuring distance. it's a pretty basic system. I've changed out proximity sensors and the data provided from techstream doesn't even tell you what sensor is faulty. I have a box of known good sensors that I would swap out to find the defective one. Next time I have techstream connected I'll have a look.

Played with some of the other guages and came up with a better font setup for the gear indicator. I used the radial gauge and removed all the other fill except the value and title.

I'll give that a shot. It will look exactly like my MPG guage and appiese my OCD. Speaking of the mpg guage, how is the value determained and can it be reset. Mine reads 16.0 to 16.5 most of the time and varies very little. Even after a fill and a long trip my Tundra display reads 19 but my Fusion reads 16.5.

Oh and how did you change the title of the pid? Yours read only GEAR and mine reads status of shift status 1st, 2nd, etc.

Can anyone confirm if the Toyota extras pack for 2019 works for the 2020 models? Fusion doesn't have anything for the for the 2020 yet.

I have a 2020, it works but you have to change the year in the vehicle editor to 2019.

    Great thread!

I have a 2013 tundra and I use Torque Pro with BAFX 34t5 Bluetooth adapter.

A few years ago my buddy and I tried to figure out the PIDs for trans temps but we could never get it to work properly. One PID fluctuates wildly and is obviously incorrect, the other is basically frozen at 134 degrees. I'll try the ones you guys posted and see if I can get them to work
