    I don't know if there is a thread on her about this..
    What Air pressure to run the Bfg's at they put 38psi at discount tire and it rides rough.
    Let me know if anyone has any what they run. I have a platinum with 20s

    The spec for air pressure should be inside the door (sticker) or in your owners manual.

    Im running 50 psi in the KO's, sidewall recommends up to 80 cold.

    Tell me the load index and pressure of the stock tires. That can be located on the door jam. Then tell me what your new tire are, and the size.

    Once you have the load index for the new tire, we can check and see what the correct pressure is. There is a chart out there.......changing from a SL tire to and LT tire requires different air pressure, you cant just use what the door jam lists. LT tires need higher pressure to carry the equal load of a SL tire.

    Not for BFG KO2s unless they came as OEMs. My did and supplemental sticker reads 46 which is about right. I run closer to 50. If don't the light comes on on real cold mornings.

    My BFG KO2 tires are an E, rated at 3195lb at 65psi, so x4 12780lbs capacity.

    Truck weights 6200lbs.

    So 6200/12780 = 48.5%

    65psi / 48.5% places me at 32psi cold, so that's where I started and that's where I see the best contact patch for DD.

    In your case as well OP, the fact you have 20s doesn't help much

    I lowered the pressure this morning to 32 in front and 35 in the back.. the sticker on the inside door says 30front/33rear ride is alot better but seems low still. To me 30/33 seems low for the BFGs..

    I’ve been running 38 to 40 PSI in the front and 32 to 35 PSI in the rear. If I load up in the back I give them more pressure. I like having good steering input, which is why I like the fronts more firm than the rear. It also gives me a similar contact patch since the truck is nose heavy.

    Yes that would be low for LT BFG tire on your Tundra. You moved from the stock SL tires to an LT tire. LT tires need higher air pressure to carry the same load as the stock tires.

    1-Check your door sticker, what is the load index listed there?
    2- what is size of the new BFG tires?

    Why would it seem low?

    If you do the load to pressure calculation, it'll give you a baseline.

    My BFG KO2 AT didn’t come stock on my 1794, so my door jam still reads for those terrible Bridgestone Duelers, but they were stock takeoffs from a TSS OEM package and that doorjam read 46psi all four corners. That being said I’ve had very good wear results over 20k miles still have 11-12mm left running 48 rear / 50 front

    I got mine at 40psi all the way around. I've been getting good tire wear and have no issues with stability. The rough ride...well you're in a full-size pickup truck on 20s, with E rated 10 ply tires. No changing that just get used to it ...or buy 18s with P metric tires.

    Ok... I got the chart I am using off a link from this site. I found it a few days ago, do not remember the name of the thread. It maps load index for SL tires, XL tires, D load, C, E, D2, C2, E2, etc.

    Based on stock tire pressure of the SL tires at 30 front and 33 rear and the load index of 111- they supported 2063 front and 2224 rear.

    Checking the chart for D load tires, load index of 112, to support that same weight pressure would be 51-52 ish front, 58 ish rear. I am guessing your D load tires have a max pressure of 65?

    So, that does seems high to me but that is what the load index chart is showing. I will see if i can find the original thread, it was a good read.

    My main point in all this- which I learned from under-inflating tires when moving up to different load classifications....is that when you move from a standard load tire to anything "higher" like D or E range tires....they require more air pressure to handle the same amount of weight. I'm sure there are probably other load index calculators out there on the web as well.

    Try it and see....does the truck track straight and handle well? Or is it too hard and wanders at speed? Try different pressure (but will need higher than your 30/33 psi stock) and see what feels good. Then do a chalk test and see if you are good or need to add or air down a little.

    I run 33-35psi in E rated 35×12.5×18's. I'll air them up if I have a decent sized load, but after load is removed, the ride reminds me to air them back down. This is one of the reasons that I got rid of the 20" rims.

    Just installed some 35"s K02 18"S. Running 38 all corners for DD.
    I was running 38 front and 41 rear on my Toyo (camper shell on bed) and wear was even.
    However when going off road I drop the psi below 30
