No, faster. One degree Celsius is a greater temperature increase than one degree Fahrenheit.

My wife drives a 2014 Corolla it gets great mileage, but it is too hard for me to get in to drive it daily (I am 6’-4”) so my Tundra will do just fine.

So far since buying my 12 rock warrior I've only been able to get up to 11.26 mpg highway and 8.94 around town...this is with me even driving it like a grandma...no lift or leveling kit, no overly aggressive tires, no extra cargo at all minus my water bottle and a hand full of change. I knew I wasn't going to get great mileage but I didn't expect it to be that bad.

I saw this thread, I know it is a little old but I wonder why anyone who buys one of these vehicles or any pickup want or care about good gas mileage? LOL I mean it is a pickup. Want to save money buy a Civic or Corolla to putt around in for cheap, sit your pickup until you need it. haha Kidding but not really....

Air lift, black out emblems, wheels, tonneau cover, tires, led lighting, hidden step rail, remote start.
Get you a mini Cooper S for those days you need to save on gas. You also get to experience what others feel when your Tundra is looming in the rear view...

I have a 03 350z for summer driving, but the truck for the wintertime.

And yes, my calculations. I use the same gas station each fill up(usually same pump due to only being 4 there), and never fill after it clicks off.

Wow that is bad....6" lift with 35s and I'm getting 14. I did notice that when I installed the CAI the mpg went up considerably.

That may be my next option then.
Like I said, I wasn't expecting low 30s like I get with my z, just figured around town I would be getting over 10mpg.

Less than 10 in town is a bit odd. I just changed my plugs and cleaned my MAF, cleaned throttle body, etc. Im getting 12-13 in town

Best you can do is set the cruise so your speed is around 1800-2000rpm and hangout.

Truth be known, Toyota is going to start losing tundra sales to the big 3 if they don't make a major improvement. The other half tons out there get like 16 city and 20+ highway. They've got to change it up and improve that to keep their market foothold

Here’s how I get 30+ on the daily commute. Requires lots of sunshine. SW Colorado provides about 275 days/yr worth. :bikewheelie2:

Do a 4 cylinder engine swap about the only way to really increase it, and remove the tow hitch. Lol

All according to where you live and weather conditions and time of year, winter gas you will get much worse mileage

2019 TRD Pro, usually get 17-19 MPG, except when towing the boat, she gets a solid 12 MPG. Stock Michelin tires, no lift. I just drive normal, not really trying any hyper-mileage tricks. The main thing I keep my eyes on is "tire pressure". Keep those puppies inflated properly, do not follow the door sticker recommendations, read the tire, go 5-8 psi below max pressure. No, this will not wear your tires out in the center, trust me on this. On days driving over to my father in-laws house I see this on a regular basis, pretty impressive.

I’ve heard synthetic blinker fluid not only adds 30 extra HP, it also increases the MPG by 30%

Are you saying there are $20-40k in mods for the tundra which will yield 4mpg???

Does it involve a team of used Priuses..Priui..Priusss...?
