Speedometer Recalibration 05-06

So sent an e-mail off to Yellow Box about the 05-06 Tundra. This is their response. I can't get up under my truck at the moment (hurt my back at the gym), so I was wondering if any of you guys new the answer to their question?

Hello,

Are you able to check the Output Speed Sensor type, located on the
transmission. If like attached photos, then yes, Yellow Box v5 is
compatible. If has same 3-pin plug set then Plug-n-play Harness is
available. For a "2-wire" sensor it will be Splice Harness only and
require Yellow Box v5 "2-wire" unit.

I believe it's the same pins, but from what 2 others in the past have said the 05-06 are set up differently and don't like calibration devices. Apparently the 5 speed trucks capture signal at the trans and the wheels and those signals hit the ECU from different points. If the ECU sees a different signal it assumes transmission slip and throws CEL.

I don't know how true that is, I have seen guys run gears on 05-06 so I don't see why running a calibration would be any different. After seeing two guys report that on TS I can't advise it, but worst case if it doesn't work out you could easily sell it here to somebody with a 00-04 and recoup.
