I have a 2001 green toyota tundra limited edition. It came with a factory color matched green rear bumper instead of the regular chrome ones. Anyone know where i can buy one at? My current one is rusted kinda bad on the bottom part of the bumper. Or would i have to just get it sanded down and repainted? Or buy a chrome one then pay to get it painted and then color matched at a shop? Thanks

Any of those are good suggestions, Pucks.. You can buy an aftermarket unpainted bumper off many different websites, but you'd still have to have it painted, obviously. If there are no rust holes or large dents, it is possible to give the bumper to a body shop to be repainted. Depending on the condition of the rest of the paint, it may or may not match perfectly... Just something to consider. Don't waste money on a chrome bumper. They are more expensive and require extra steps to properly prep for paint

@zombie Thank you. Ill still have to get it painted though, my front bumper and flares, and everything else is color matched, a chrome bumper would look kinda funky imo. But thanks still

Some of the later 1st Gens came from the factory with a painted front bumper and flares but had a chrome rear bumper.

Sounds like an expensive uphill battle to find a green color matched bumper in good shape. Even more expensive to custom order one or have a shop do it.

If you are open to suggestion, you should buy a regular chrome bumper and paint it yourself. You can buy color matched Toyota Acrylic Lacquer by Duplicolor for around $11 a can which should be enough to do your bumper. Most auto stores carries Duplicolor.

There is also an online distributor of color matched paints ($19 a can) if you can’t find the Duplicolor at your local auto store.

$80 for the paint to match bumper on Rock Auto. They have others but cost is more.

If you think yours is usable and you don’t want to spend a lot, clean it up, treat the rust and diy with bed liner, black wouldn’t stand out, I’m pretty sure some people on this board have done bed liner on their bumpers.
