Congrats. My wife decided the 4 runner was too big for her. Looks like we'll be settling on a new Rav4. At least she's committed to a limited or above trim package. Like 1UPPER said, "happy wife.........."

My wife and I are looking at either a highlander or 4 runner. I really like them both but in the end it will be what she is most comfortable driving every day!

I've had a 2011 highlander and 2013 4Runner and now have a 2015 sienna and 2016 tundra I can say that they are all assume rides. But I do have to admit the highlander is a great ride if u get a limited as well as the sienna limited for the family.

Heck yea!! I can't decide for my wife a 4runner or Sequoia. We're planning to have 1-2 more kids and I'd love to have the room and comfort for the family.

    DECISIONS!!

If you will have 1-2 more kids just do it right and get he Sequoia! The Runner is only good for maybe 1 kid. After that it gets tight quick.

That's what I think too. Plus when i look at the cost of something like a Trail Premium plus putting Fox 2.5's, UCA's, etc (my wife want's Hattori style) I might as well get more room and do something like BIL 5100's, wheels and tires.

Good choice! My mom just traded in her Rav for a Trail Edition 4Runner, after me hassling her for two months about how small the former was.

I replaced my wofes Volvo wagon with a 4Runner after a exhaustive search for anything remotely worthy. Trust me. You made the right choice. My wife loves her truck.

Nice! Heard the magic words from my girl the other day..."I want a 4runner". First thing I thought hell yeah now two vehicles to mod. Wondering if I should talk her into waiting a few years and upgrading the Tundra at the same time. Anyone know if you can get a multi-vehicle discount?

I think a Sequoia will be our next car for the Mrs. They are animals.

Most dealers will work you a better deal if your buying two vehicles at once. The smartest decision I ever made on my last truck was getting a price for my Tundra online at car.com. They sent the vehicle I wanted out to five different local dealers and I hade them all fighting for my business. I got my truck way below what I thought because they all bid against each other. Just food for thought.

Thanks I'll have to check that out! Got a buddy that works in sales at my local dealer now as well. Hoping he can work his magic when the time comes.

This was my plan. My wife and I went down to the dealer to look at a tundra for me. We test drove it and a new 4runner. They were ready to make us a multi vehicle deal on both, but I couldn't swallow $1000 a month in car payments. We left with her driving a new sr5 4runner and me driving her old car. Happy wife right?
