Yeah, the commercials have gotten REALLY stupid. Wish they would bring back the Budweiser Clydesdales commercials. Used to work with those magnificent horses. But, ever since Anheuser-Busch was bought by a Chinese company, no more Clydesdales. Shame.

Who cares about a pissing contest on a forum?

    I gave my opinion.

    You gave your opinion.

    What's the problem?

Yes, people sometimes have diverging opinions.

Inferred [since you seem to bring it up, by implication], all opinions aren't equal. All beliefs are not the same. All cultures are not equal [for example, I frown upon cannibalistic cultures or cultures that think cutting people's heads off or throwing people off buildings or killing a spouse in the street is okay].

What's my point? It's not a sin to think one opinion prevails over another.

It's also not a reason to have a disagreement with someone.

Unless, I suppose, you are arguing that this absolute equality [which exists nowhere in nature] actually does exist. In that case, I think you're wrong.

It's taking unnecessary offense at people's freedom to have their own ideas and beliefs that is the problem. That is different than sharing disgust about a behavior or position.

If you really believed your last sentence, which I emboldened, you wouldn't be righteously indignant in your disagreement.

I ask you, "Any opinion that is different than yours is an example of what's wrong with today's society? Really?"

Grown people have opinions. They're not all the same. It's something that we have to learn to deal with in life.

I think you would have been better off just saying, "I don't think there is anything wrong with half-naked women acting perverse and shaking their butts all over the place on prime time tv."

    Cool.

Usually cheerleaders don't go on stripper poles or simulate sex and at least leave something to the imagination.

They don't have them in their commercials as much, but the Budweiser Clydesdales still exist. I see them at bigger stakes horse races ever spring and fall.

Stuff like this is what makes forums suck.

Notice, I didn't give @TXRailRoads73 any noise for his comment because I am not the monitor of all things.

Somebody made a comment on this thread. Several people commented on the topic, as did I.

Now, we have to get in a circle, hold hands, and quiz some commentators, so that we can detangle their moral worldview, create a mockery of free speech and free thinking, and turn the entire thread and forum into a contentious pile of seething resentment. [All because somebody didn't "feel like" they cared for a comment.]

    I'll pass.

Not really same comparison.Tv networks don't really show cheerleaders dancing for 10 min full screen view when 8-10 year olds are glued to tv during the game.Only way you can see them dancing close up if you actually go to the game and sit close to the stadium.Even than doubt u’ll see any crotch unlike the half time show.I had to change the channel since my 4,7,8,12 year olds were watching .
