    Frequently Asked Questions (http://engineeringpp.com/faq.html)
Due to the sheer volume of inquiries we receive daily, if your question is answered in the FAQ, we cannot spend time sending a personalized response to each and every inquiry. We are a small company, there are only 2.5 of us. This helps keep us in the shop, building; and keeps the response time down for questions that are not already answered here.

    When will my order ship?
We are a small shop and in order to keep costs down we do not stock fabricated products. Products are built to order. That said, we typically have a 4-6 week lead time on fabricated products. We do our best to get things out the door as soon as possible. If you have place an order on our webstore, you will recieve an email notification with tracking info when it ships.

    Where is my tracking information?
When your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email that will include tracking information. Alternatively, your original order confirmation email will have a "View Your Order" button, where you can find status updates and tracking information once the item has been shipped.

Most other companies make you buy sliders in a non-lift or lifted configuration. How does a lift kit affect your set up?
The way our sliders work with factory and body lifted trucks is we created a mounting bracket that uses 2 sets of mounting holes. If you have a factory body truck you will use the upper set of holes. If you have, or if you body lift the truck later simply switch to the lower set of holes and the sliders will be located up to the body the same was as they fit with a stock body truck.

Where can I find installation instructions?
We keep all our installation instructions right here.

Our DIY products are designed to be just that, DIY. We don't offer instructions for liability reasons, and because nobody likes being told what to do...

    How much does shipping cost?
Our shipping rates will be displayed when you add the product to the cart and start the checkout process. You will be able to see these charges before your card is charged.

Oh man ... I survived the first group buy. Now, I might be in trouble ...

Special request of anyone (@SuperSilverTundra) that can post a picture with these on and with the doors open. The only way I can see my wife not having a cow about me doing this is if she can use it to step up in and out of the truck like she currently does with my NFab's.

Check out the last picture. They work very well as a step. They were intentionally made to stick out far enough to be used as a step. With the doors closed they can be used to stand on and access the roof if you have a rack or basket up top.

Thanks Mac ... Still wouldn't mind seeing something with the doors open. On a 3/1 level like I have, how high off the ground would you say the step is? I'm sure it's at least 3 inches higher than my NFab.

The top surface would be ~1/2-3/4" below the pinch seam under your rocker panel.

We just got measurement from a 2nd gen double cab owner that the holes in his frame are in the same position and our sliders will fit those trucks as well - as expected.

We can now 100% confirm 2nd gen and double cab compatibility.

And I was able to take the requested open door pic for @r4z0r51o with my size 12 on there for scale.

There will be a minor hardware change for the rear bracket of the double cab because of clearance issues with the rear body mount. Cutting a small section of the body mount would allow access for the standard hardware.

Can any 3rd gen double cab guys confirm for us this body mount is still in the same place and configuration at the rear of the cab outboard of the fuel tank?

Thanks Mac for posting those pictures ... I've been trying to butter up the wife so she won't kill me if I do this. Can't guarantee anything yet ... 6 days to try and pull this off.

After my wife saw the deep crease I put in the bottom of the passenger door without sliders she practically begged me to get em. Not a tactic I would really suggest...

I tried getting the wife to buy into mine purchasing these ... she politely reminded me of some other more pressing needs around the house that I agree should be addressed. I'm going to have to pass for now ... pretty certain she'll go easier on me the next time I bring up a special buy.

Good luck @mac11 and thanks for building a quality product.
