    Whats up guys,

I know there are many headlight threads out there, but none that would give me a proper answer in the detail im looking for.

So.. Ive been looking around Carid website and Amazon etc, trying to find a set of Headlight w/ corner light that are smoked for my 05 Access Cab. I know there are differences from the AC to the DC (DoubleCab), they wont fit, because there seems to be PLENTY of Smoked headlight sets for the DCs. I know person has done Retro fit kits for the ACs and looked sweet!, but i like the origional look, just smoked, especially since these models came with the little light in the headlamp unit. id like to keep that light also..

Has anyone seen around a smoked headlight kit w/corners that would FIT the First Gen, AC models?

    Thanks y'all!

I've seen a lot of people use a couple coats of this to smoke lenses.

FWIW, I used NiteShades years ago on my '05 Chevy. It does work well but honestly it is more of a dark purple tint rather than black. Also for it too look good, it took multiple coats. This was on the taillights with red lenses so maybe the headlights with clear lenses would take less coats.

i thought about using the spray for tinting the headlight Lens. Worried I’ll mess up and it will be too dark. But I’ll think it over as well.

No no no. We've been through this. Take DEXI and add it to DEXII. There's no such thing as DEXIII.

    I miss marbles. :(

Yeah dude. I hope he is ok. His heart was bad from what he said and at his age makes me worry. I know he was stoked on his ‘heavy hitter’ neighbor helping him with the timing belt. Last we heard from him!

Email some of the vendors that are offering smoked lights for the other years and see what they say.

The double cabs are physically bigger in every aspect so they won't fit. I am not sure if there is any physical or mounting different between 00-04 & 05+ access cabs.

I ordered these recently. As far as clear aftermarket headlights go, the quality is about the same. OEM is obviously the best, but who wants to spend the extra coin for headlights?

I just had these on my truck. They fit 2000-2004. 05-06 dont look much different, and they are a little flexible. So trial and era for those years.

Sorry guys, let me correct myself, there is no Actual Access Cab Smoked headlight kit that looks just like the Factory ones with the little light inside the headlight housing. thats what i want.

Revtune - your right, may just go to regular ones. the link you provided has a good deal.. better than CarID from what ive seen..

Zombie - yeah im debating if i want to play around with fitting them in.

was looking for a "REDRUM" sort of look.. haha.. smoked headlights and foglights, get black wheels. windows are mainly tinted.. the prev owner debaged her, but i may re-add them and get like a black chrome style, if i can find it. not sure yet what i want to do..
