A couple months ago we met Cody - @MidwestOverlanders - and made some sliders for his Tundra TRDPRO, Brutus. Since then we've seen a very strong interest in our sliders and Cody has trusted us with his truck to take on front & rear bumpers, full front to rear skid plates (pics coming soon) and now a low pro front bumper. We're very close to having them production ready and thought we would throw up some pictures now that we've roughed in the low pro bumper.

This is our full plate rear winch dual swing arm overland bumper. It was designed around a smittybuild X20 12k winch. Will fit almost any remote solenoid winch up to this size as the winch bucket is the full width of the frame rails of the truck.

The full bumper weighs in around 225-250lbs as shown with all options - integrated hitch, winch mount, dual swing arms, spare tire mount, maxtrax mount, dual jerry can buckets, and hi-lift mount.

The mounting brackets are 1/4" thick and mimic the stock hitch brackets for strength.

The hinges are the best of both worlds - the strength and security of a double shear mount with the load carrying capacity and smooth swinging action of a tapered roller bearing.

MaxTrax mount unpins easily for access to the spare tire. Both swing arms have locking pins that hold them open at 90 and 180-degrees for easy access if they needed to be open in an off camber situation.2016-11-30.jpg 15259599_1756460981346185_1738623945848547374_o.jpg 15303846_340616382960382_334524866_o.jpg

Shortly. I would really like to get 1 more local guy to bring to a truck to the shop (Warsaw, Indiana) so we can prove out the jig we have.

Do you have a price yet? And does the tire block the back up cams view at all?

yes, it deff will block the view the the backup cam. No way around that but to relocate it. The price is on our webstore - I don't think I can post that here as I haven't been able to get setup as a vendor.

What do you need to do to prove your jig. I already have an after market rear and front bumper but would love to see you succeed. I had a hard time finding a rear bumper I liked because almost none of them followed the angled body line on the wrap around. And your local!! i'm in Noblesville and we have a cottage on Lake Palestine outside Warsaw. If I could come up and help you prove out what you need, let me know. Is this a "leave the truck for the day" thing or a couple hours of fitting?

Ideally we would have the truck for a 2 days. Build a bumper out of the jig we have, test fit on the truck, make any tweaks, changes, additions or subtractions to the jig - if necessary. The do the same to the part - if necessary. Once we get the part coming out of the jig how we want it, we're done. We then like to run a 2nd part (or 3rd, 4th, 5th if necessary) out of the jig that comes out to our satisfaction with no rework.

I'd have a tough time giving it up for 2 days right now. Do you have pics of the skid plates you made?

Not on the truck. I'm still waiting on getting them back from powder . Front to back is a 6 piece system. Just behind the bumper to the crossbar behind the engine oil pan is 2 panels that bolt together and to factory mounting holes on each end. Then the Transmission and transfer case each are seperate plates that span the next 2 cross members. The TC skid bolts to the driveshaft hoop at the back and also to the front panel of the fuel tank skid. The fuel tank skid is 2 panels that covers the ~38 gallon extended range tank on the TRD PRO.

Toyota in Lafayette just got a new white TRD Pro in stock last week. It's be sweet with one of those bumpers. Make 'em a "marketing trade".

You guys in the shop this Friday? I have to be in Peru mid day. I'd like to see your shop. Might run up there after my meeting.

That is pretty far from me to be doing local business with. I'm trying to talk to the local Toyota dealer.

Wow, that thing looks stout! If only you could make a high-clearance version, I'd be in -- remove the rear winch functionality, extend the corners to wrap toward the wheels, and chop the bumper's height in half.. I'd pay the extra for that in a heartbeat..

that's going to be pretty drastically different than what we have done so far. I would love to do that as a custom build if you could get the truck to the shop in Warsaw, IN. I can offer towing services regionally if that makes more sense. Cool truck, btw.

I love the fact that you have a rear bumper winch. I could have used that this past weekend, and last year.

Yep. It's a little extra weight and expense but you'd have a hard time not being able to make a recovery with dual winches.
