I'm sure this has been posted before but I'm being too lazy to try and search for the answer. I was going to lift my truck with a toytec boss kit but I ran into a family issue and can't spend that much right now. I was wanting some info on the Bilstein 5100 shocks. Just looking to level the truck out for now and jump up to a 275 70 18 tire. Can you guys give me some pros and cons. Any other add ons I would need for this setup? Any rubbing issues? I am going to use my stock rims so I was also wondering if I should get spidertrax spacers or not. @Sean266 @csuviper @Law323 I know you guys are pretty knowledgeable about this. What are your thoughts. Thanks

My LT285/70R-18 tires fit on stock wheels without spacers. Also, look here.

I set up 5100's on my tundra sr5 tss with 20 in wheels. No problems looks good while i save money for a complete toytec lift

I don't think you'd have much trouble fitting 275/70's with the 5100's set on the middle or top setting. They're only 10.8" wide in most cases, just a little taller than 275/65's.

Might as well ask the same - Billsteins in front and back - 18 x 9 with 25 offset - 285/65 18 BFG's.....any foreseen issues? Shop says no problem - no UCA's/alignment/rubbing issues. Y'all agree?

The two sizes of BFG's KO's they suggest was to use either the 285/65 18 or 305/65 18.

I don't want rubbing hassles - but also want things to be symmetrical (properly proportioned) in appearance. Do you suggest the 305? Or some other tire dimensions?

@Fly'n Family I'm running 285/65 18 trail grapplers on a +30 offset with no rub. No trimming or anything required and I've still got stock suspension. With those Bilsteins, you should be golden.

And while this thread is up, anyone be able to point me in the direction of the Bilstein 5100s I would need for a 2016? Or are they the same as the ones for the 14? Like Amazon sells the Bilstein set for $352 but it says it only goes up to 2014s.

Same as the ones for a 14, Toyota didn't change the suspension at all from the 07's-17's.

I PERSONALLY would set them on the middle setting. To me the top setting should have some kind of rear lift in addition.
I'm very happy with my 5100's.

2016 SR5 TRD Off-Road: New here and know this has been asked and a link is posted above but see people saying both 285/65 R18 or 275/70 R18 will both fit a stock SR5 TRD Off-Road without mods or rubbing- does anyone have experience with this and what works the best? Would 5100's help? Thanks.
