Haven't seen a general gun talk thread, so here we go. Been to the range recently? Any cool guns on your radar? Modding any of your guns? Do we all agree that 9mm is better than .45, yet the 1911 is better than Glock?

A distributer here in Canada just announced this one is coming. .308 version will have a 12.5" barrel, the .223 version will have a 10.5" barrel. I'm sorely tempted despite having blown my gun budget recently.

Lost half of mine when the canoe flipped. Sold the rest to a guy named Mike from Canmore, Alberta.

Still fun to chit chat about the ones I had and the ones I wish I had. :D

Have a Benelli Supernova Tactical for the house, but was watching YouTube and came across the Panzer AR shotgun, might sell the Benelli use that for the Panzer

A Benelli SuperNova tactical pump with the 14.5" barrel is on my list to buy. Great guns and super handy. I'd also like to get my hands on a 14.5" barrelled Mossberg 590A1 but they're tough to find in Canada.

I’ve been wanting to check out the 320. I’ve had a few usp’s and a couple other HK’s. They are nice.

Might as well throw in a couple of shotguns. I sold these. The SPAS-12 almost quadrupled what I had in it and it was still tough to let go. I have owned 2 and I doubt I'll ever get another but it was cool. b07ff186ef0b7a12-photo.jpg

The SPAS 12 is prohibited in Canada. Too scary to be owned by us I guess. :(

Overly complicated, stupidly heavy and 100% badass.
I bought my first new in the 80s.

The second i got about 10 years ago. I couldn’t believe it was for sale so cheap. I snagged it up.

I shit you not, it's scary looking. Alot of our gun laws in Canada are emotion based rather than fact based.

    One example:

CSA VZ-58: Non restricted, shoot it at the gravel pit, take it hunting if you want, transport it unloaded

CZH-2003 - Restricted, can only shoot it at a certfied gun range, transport it trigger locked, inside a locked opaque case

    CZ-858 - Prohibited.

Yep. Our gun laws are one discombobulated, bureaucratic mess made worse by the fact that we don't have a right to bear arms.

We can get some cool stuff that from my undersstanding is tough or impossible to get Stateside.

    8.5" barrelled 870 anyone?

Wife loves her BodyGuard in 38 with the laser. Still can’t get her to practice with the semi auto loading it and all that. She likes the simplicity of the revolver.
