I believe all the parts are interchangeable on most suspension lifts unless stated by the manafacture.

2wd and 4wd suspensions parts are the same on tundras. I just wonder if there is any real difference in height between 4wd and 2wd shocks. Probably not much

No difference. Same size shocks and springs

I figured. It’s not the old days when 2wd and 4wd models had different heights and tires

Yep. I just sold my TRD bilsteins from my 4wd to somebody with a 2wd and it all went in just the same. Mounting points and bolt sizes are all the same.

Would there be any difference between the spring rates on a 2wd vs 4wd considering the extra weight of a 4wd?

No. The extra weight from 4WD is partially unsprung.

*edit to clarify not all 4WD parts are unsprung weight.

That sounds like sprung weight. Unsprung weight is a steering knuckle, because it has zero bearing on the sag of the suspension.

The springs have to be different on 4wd models, they have 300 extra lbs almost all weighing down the front

My understanding is all Tundras other than the TRD Pros have 700lb front springs.

Do the parts drop when the vehicle is lifted by the frame?
The CVs do. The rear driveshaft does. Not 100% sure on front diff/driveshaft. Transfer case wouldn’t move...
