Well I’m gonna sleep on it and order my 6112/5160 shocks tomorrow. I’ve come to my senses and think I’m going to go with 295/70r18 tires on Method MR314 wheels. Toytec shackles so I can have two height options. I’m also ordering 3 CB shims so I can go higher and bigger tires if I’d like.

Has anyone seen a set of Toyo RT’s in 295/70r18???

I do have a little rubbing in the front in reverse - at mid/full lock. Other than that it is pretty solid all around. I am getting new bumpers in the next few months, so that should solve that problem. Had some alignment issues until I took it to an actual 4x4 shop, but since then its been great.

These are 275/60/20. Cooper ST Snow tires.

I was thinking of ordering some 18" TRD rims I saw another member here do for my summer tires. (I want the 285/75/18) Look and clearance .. but I'm pretty sure that's 3inches.

Stock suspension. I really want to lift possibly 2 more inches. Was thinking about the old man EMU kit with Diff drop.

Either way these trucks look Unreal thank you for ideas and k owledge

So 6112's at 1.9 along with 5160's arrived today. Now I have to measure factory rake and hook my boat up to see the change then decide which CB shackle to add to the rear in order to keep some rake to make the TSS happy. Also need 3 shims and figure out what tire size I want to go with. I'll be keeping the stock TRD OR wheels.

Ended up at the last minute changing from 1.9 to 2.5 and love the look! No trimming. The skid plate rubs at full lock.
I plan to just bend it up when I get a chance.

The truck is drifting to the right so I am headed back this morning to 4wp to get that fine tuned.

    Hell yes! Looks awesome

I put 295/55r20’s on my stock tss wheels this weekend. My 6112’s will be here Wednesday! I’m going with 1.9” for now as I’m driving a 375 mile commute pretty regularly

Thanks! Post pics when yours is done. I debated for a while about going wider on the tire but mine already sticks out just a hair, which i am happy with.

I will. I originally wasn’t going to lift so I went with 295/55. I may see if discount tire will let me swap for the 295/60

SCS Ray 10s 18x9 +25 offset. 305/65-18 Falken Wildpeak AT3s; 6112s at 2.5" with shims for a total of 3" lift up front. 2" lift in the rear with @BOSS4x4s shackles. (sorry for the crappy pic, it's too cold outside and I'm in my jammies; I'll take a better one and post it up later).

Nope, I suspect it is your wheel offset with the 275/70 rubbing on your skidplate.

I have a SR5 with 6112 (1.9 + shim) and the OEM rims (+50? or +60? offset) with 275/70 rubbed on the skidplate. Put on the Ray10s at +25 offset with 295/70 and no rub.

Parsing through about a million posts trying to find the setup I want. This is the setup I want. This exact one.

Have a '20 1794 that will be sitting like this asap after the factory tires wear out. Love that you kept the stock wheels (but honestly worried about spacing them out). Love the stance, the very slightly proud tire profile; Love, love, love.

Stock UCAs? Any Differential drop? If so, any alignment woes?

Serious question that could save my marriage - - does this setup ride over potholes and speed bumps cushier than stock? If I put a stiff riding suspension on my truck, I'll live in the dog house for months....

    thanks,

telling you right now if you are worried about the ride, don’t. It rides way better than stock. My wife loves it and her exact words at 80mph was “this doesn’t even feel like a truck”

Just made an appointment to get my shocks installed tomorrow morning. Originally I was going to install them first thing in the morning and get it aligned after lunch but the shop said they would do the install and alignment for $250 out the door! Sign me up! Pictures to come

Can’t speak to how easy they are to add after, but essentially you’re removing everything all over again to add them. upload_2020-2-2_7-52-18.jpg

Nice looking rig! I currently have the same truck and 275/70/18 (33.1” tire) on Ray10s. I am lifting (3inches) and possibly going with 6112s, but worry about gravity over time having the lift drop less than 3” as I am moving up to 35’s..35’s would be another 1.5 inches diameter on your current size tire. how long have you had this lift on? Notice any drop yet?
