    Hello fellow Tundra owners!

I recently purchased a 2001 Limited with the TRD package. Still learning about these trucks, but I've been a Toyota fan for a long time. Own a 2005 LS430 which rarely gets out of the garage and recently sold my 2001 LS430 for something a little more economical since I commute 75 miles to work each way. Hence the Volt ownership.

The truck has 170K on it and the body is pretty much rust free, but the bed has a couple small areas in the floor that need some repair.. The frame, on the other hand, ain't so clean.....

The frame has some rust, which is why I got it as cheaply as I did ($2000) the Recall undercoating thing was done in 2009, but it still has some issues, the worst being the are around the right control arm.
I'm looking into the Safe-T-Cap kit from Autorust.com

The truck is pretty much all original, and hasn't been hacked up. I'll be pulling the bed off to clean up the rear section of the frame, patch the bed floor and redo the rear suspension.

Then I'll be moving onto the front section of the frame and rebuilding the front suspension while it's all apart.

The 2UZ runs great and the trans is in good shape as well.

I figure I can stick a few grand into it and still keep my head above water on this one..

Looking forward to learning a bunch on this forum!

Thanks so much for all the welcomes! I tried to post a few pictures, but perhaps I'm unable to this early in my tenure with the forum...

I plan on documenting the work I do this year, ,so I'll start a thread when I get underway..
