    Soon for me...

I have my shiny new Harrop 2650 sitting in my garage, just waiting to be installed. I'll probably throw on some long-tubes, too!

Just waiting for my tuning file to be completed, then start the fun.

SC'd for a year with the Magnuson unit with the bullydog. I had nothing but issues with the BD. It caused lots of codes and a cylinder shut down if the rpms went too high. Went truth the OVTune and it has been perfect. No codes, smooth shifting and smooth Power throughout the power band. I still keep the BD to monitor the temps etc. Truck has TRD intake and Bam exhaust.

That's great to hear! Mat is setting up my tune for the SC, looking forward to it.

Don't get frustrated on the first couple tunes. You loose most of the power as he starts to build your tune for your truck. He puts it back as you go. I'm on tune 8 or 9 and love. I

Thanks! Yeah, there was a good delay from Harrop, while they were prepping for SEMA. But, I finally have it.

Two months will be here before you know it! Awesome.

Been supercharged since 2018 at around 85k miles. Had some small issues with blow-by getting on one of the plugs, but has only happened once. Started hearing a lifter noise around 108k miles, but ended up being covered by my extended warranty. She’s running like a champ now. Really want to swap over to a RSCB, but have two young kids at the moment...31BACEFF-6110-4428-B47F-F232ECB3E96A.jpgA56B1390-CDD7-42F4-AA18-F0B5DF4346FC.jpg

Hey all, I preordered my supercharger when I bought my 2020 CM. My excitement is getting the best of me so I keep doing research.
Has anyone in here considered doing a LC500 throttle body upgrade? If I'm not mistaken, the stock 5.7L TB is 76mm while a 5.0L LC500/RC-F uses a 84mm TB. An adapter plate needs to be made but that wouldn't be difficult for me to make. The cheapest I found the 84mm TB (22030-38050) was $590 shipped on ebay:
    https://www.ebay.com/p/19017782153?...6ZgMe3yzwGN1MOX4Qpn5_ZYmuBdV4sbcaAgnBEALw_wcB

I first read about it here but thought I'd seek input on whether it's worth the work/risk/money:

One of the original FFV conversions on my 2015. So I'm a little different than you non FFV SC guys. There were only a couple of us that went down this path 5 year ago when Toyota was saying it couldn't be done.

I did that write up on TundraTalk.
It is worth the work and money only if you have already got pulleys and are going for max power.
The throttle body will add about 1 PSI for $600.
A pulley would add 2 PSI for $150.
Way better bang for the buck.

Blown as in the engine is broken or blown as in it is supercharged?
How many miles on the engine, supercharger, is it complete with trd ecu, engine harness? Is it from a tundra, sequoia, 4runner, land cruiser?

Sorry for confusion. 2002 tundra 280k on dash. Thinking about only selling motor with TRD supercharger with ecu and harness. Motor was run hot and I've decided away with the charger and installing another 4.7 from my 00 tundra.

I have the Mag/BD combo that was dealer installed. 28k miles so far, awesome power, never a code, no issues, Non ffv, no boost or afr gauges.

I'm currently getting 19mpg in the summer and 16.5mpg with winter shit fuel. I run 93 octane 100% of the time.

Considering the OV tune to dial in the tranny, I like what I've been reading...(taking a long time to read that nearly 3000 post thread!!!)
It seems Mat is on to some nice refinements as well as options I.E. gearlock and direct shift. My problem it I would have to buy a laptop just to load/log, adding to the cost of the mod. Is the OV tune worth the wait/hassle?

I went with the Magnuson primarily due to the fact that they had been producing the TRD supercharger before they were discontinued. I'm not looking for huge number gains but needed more than what the truck offered stock.
The payment for the supercharger was made before I was made aware that they haven't released the H-Key programming. As soon as it is released, I will have it installed.

    Tastefully enhanced...
What is everyone doing to strengthen the transmission; which I assume is the weakest link?! Shift kits? Billet bits? Tuning?

I haven't had any issues in my setup...started with a BD tune with the TRD charger...BD felt like it had more umph but nothing else blended together to work perfect together...I went with OVT and tho it doesn't have as much umph (still absolutely amazing) it is blended to everything that puts the added power to the ground...but I would like more, as all of us generally do to some point, whether it be a pulley, a B-Cool unit, etc...what are you all doing who're putting down more then 480hp for transmission bolstering?!
