This weekend I saw a brother of my dear friend laid to rest and a father to another friend too. Both died of brain cancer a day apart. My friends brother in a years time had it all over, my other friend’s dad had multiple tumors in his head!! Both went thru radiation to the head, one massive doses to the brain the other targeted each individual tumor. After a rest cycle and a few drugs to help with memory and other issues both start the immunology (spelling)? and both went down hill quickly. Friends brother kind of came out of it only to crater, he died with friends and family around him and plenty of drugs because of the pain. Other friends father went down and never came back and he held on for three days!, tough old bird!! Cherish every minute with loved ones because there are no guarantees in life and you never know what tomorrow will bring. Hated to see them pass but I am so so glad neither is in pain anymore!! I felt I just needed to say something. RIP Capt. Kenny and Mr Grinstead!!

I agree. It's tough for anyone to have to deal with for sure. Anything can happen at any time. Some people take life for granted way too easily.

I'm sorry to hear man. I lost my brother to liver cancer. Seen him go from amateur bodybuilder to basically holocaust victim in 18 months. I feel the pain and loss but never realized that my parents lost a son as well. That I think was even harder for me to witness.

My condolences. I lost my father to cancer. He was a welder and welded a lot of nasty metals. The fumes caused lung cancer that spread to his ribs and, eventually, to his brain. His last months were pretty bad.

Brain cancer actually runs in my family. Honestly though; the happiest life occurs when you simply accept the fact that you’re gonna die one way or another anyway and simply enjoy the time you have while you’re here.

Sorry to hear that man. My mom had breast cancer, luckily beat it with chemo and it hasn't come back (knock on wood). Shit is fucking bad, and the "medicine" seems to be just as bad as cancer itself.
