So I recently retro fitted my headlights and decided I wanted to do another set. I wanted the next set to be unique and stand out from the rest. After a week of waiting for the parts to come in and another week working on them, they are finally done. Sanding, stripping, priming and painting, they are DONE!

Audi style DRL and halo, sequential turn signals, mini H1 projector and HID’s all in a matte black housing. I spent a lot of time making these and I am stoked the way they turned out. It was a bit of work but totally worth it IMO.

    Thanks fellas!

My dad has a 2018 Tundra so I kind of used his as a blue print. I wanted to merge the FGT to a newer model and it came out pretty good!

    Excellent work!

I like the turn signal action.

Hows the light output action on those projectors?

Amazing. It’s literally night and day difference from the standard bulbs/housing.

Looks great. What sequentials and projectors did you go with? I have two sets of headlights I am planning on messing with next. The sequential signals might be needed on my next project.
The more I drive with my h1 projectors, the more I appreciate the very useable light output. It isn't perfect, but it's so much better than it was stock.

One of the coolest things about projectors is that they don't blind other drivers unless you want to. If someone is a d bag with their lights (I'm talking to you 1/2 and 3/4 ton truck guys with leveling kits, unaimed headlights, and super bright fogs/ light scattering devices always on) you can go full beast mode and hit your brights. I was on the fence and now I'm not even in the same county. Go projectors and don't look back. Mini H1s are supposed to be the weaker projectors and if they kick a$$ then d2s style should be really fun. The h1s are just so easy in our housings though. Most the time is baking the lights and not the actual projector install.

Ha! These were a little more labor but I did have fun building them. There is about $250 in parts I have about 4-5 hours in them with painting. I think I could probably do them $375 or so which puts me around $20 an hour for my time and some for materials.

These look awesome and I know people will hate me for saying but $20/hr ain’t much. I think you should charge more. but glad you can make some side hustle! :)

When I say I enjoy building these, I really do. I had a lot of fun putting these together and I am sure I can keep improving them the more I do them. I'm not looking to get rich off of them but I have a trip to Germany later this year that I could use some extra funds for!

So I haven’t done a set for a DC yet. I have a guy that is supposed to send me his lights to tinker with but it keeps getting postponed. I may pickup a set from a junk yard for testing if I find a good candidate.

Post up a pick of your wiring and plug. I want to see how clean it looks. I really like the output. Can you post pics with hi/low beam action?
