Its plug and play on 18-20 from what I've read, but nobody has tried on 14-17. Being the plug and play eBay harness works on 14-19's...I'd GUESS the OEM is plug and play on 14-20. That's ultimately what Im trying to find out for sure though. lol

    Contemplating.
Maybe @Roman gives a discount cause it would open the floodgates to many more sales!

I used this harness on my 2016 with the POP N LOCK and it worked flawlessly.

I asked the very same question, never got a response so I just went with the KTJO one. It's gotten plenty of great reviews.

I installed this on my 18 CM and it was complete plug and play. Works great. My door locks are louder than the tailgate lock. Very happy with it.

Unfortunately I do not. Easy install though. The hardest part was running the harness under the truck.

Just got mine today. It was a couple days from parts.toyota.com to my local dealer.

a couple people said on here they wouldn’t be available until April or something but that’s definitely not the case.

Got mine out in today. VERY nice kit, I’d highly recommend it over other alternatives.

I bet there are quite a few people waiting for the results.

I didn't have the patience and went with a forum vendors product.

    CONFIRMED......Works on 2014 Tundra.
No Fire, Christmas tree of lights or limp mode...... At least on mine. Your mileage may vary.

No directions in the box but the ones @Roman had on the first post worked great.
Everything plugged in and fit just as the directions state. Only Issue I had was the plugs in the tailgate had a bit of bed liner over spray all over them but that was the only problem I ran into.
Locks, and unlocks with the remote as the doors do. Very happy with the kit. Tons of zip ties are included. Only thing I used outside the kit was a little loctite on the tailgate nut holding the actuator.
Kit is very well made with easy connections, Fuses built in, Wire protector bezels going thought the tailgate and bed, Grommet to go through the floor. I think the actuator is pretty quiet and I am completely satisfied with the purchase.
Thought this might be a two beer project.
Few pics of the kit and a few of the dirty tailgate and bed lined bezels.

Should work if you buy the double cab version.

Also confirmed this works pre 2018. I have a 2017 CrewMax 1794. The only issue I ran into was that the OEM grommet already had a cable going through it so I had to cut into the tailgate lock harness grommet to fit both cables.

Does anyone know if you can over ride it still with your key if the lock happens to fail?

Yes you can over ride it by locking or unlocking with the key but once you hit a remote button it goes back to whatever button you hit.

Thank you @Roman for the fast shipping! Install was easy (use the attached instructions in OP) and works as advertised on a 2018. It's no louder than the other doors locking.
Note: wear gloves when routing the wire underneath the truck, there's some sharp edges.
