Here's a video of my 2019 Pro carefully towing my 5000 lbs Black Series HQ15 trailer up the 7 mile rim trail in Moab. I never felt that the Tundra was lacking torque, the limit was the driver :) There was only one step where the Tundra started to slip, but that was easily overcome bumping the trailer over that step. I tried to be very careful going up those steps! The only thing I did to the Tundra was rock sliders and a full set of skid plates, plus slightly bigger tires, giving me essentially 1" more clearance. I'm really happy with the Tundra's performance on that trail!

28.5’ Sunset Trail Reserve (by Crossroads RV). 6900 lbs dry. Have had it for + 6 yrs now - love it. Really want a bigger trailer and a 5th wheel at that, but don’t want to give up my Tundra to do it. In the market for 30-32’ TT bunk house if anyone sees a good deal ;)

Trip report! I’m looking for basically this same size trailer. Same reasoning — don’t want to give up my Tundra but the family is growing and I need a bunk house model...

Love that area. Lockett Meadow is close by and a great place to camp/hike as well.

A quick google says that skid loader is 4k lbs. Lighter than I expected. A lot of skid loaders are double that. I saw a F150 towing a John Deere skid loader recently and it was squatting so hard it almost tucked tire in the rear.

I have a 2019 Aluma 7x14 v nose work trailer that I am almost done setting up, and a 2016 35' Innsbruck 323 TBR travel trailer thats GVWR is 11,300. For those of you pulling heavy stuff, put airbags on it if you havent already. Rear suspension is weak for heavy tongues, but everything else about a Tundra is solid. I actually redid my truck, and have been meaning to put up new pics for opinions, but that will be another time and place.truckcamper.jpg trailer.jpg trailer2.jpg trailer3.jpg

They're great travel trailers. However, you'll generally get quality over quantity with these. For the price of a 20' Airstream, you could probably buy 3 "some other brand" trailers of comparable size. Airstream generally stays with a familiar design, without making big sweeping changes. Most folks wouldn't be happy with the limited features and overall available space (no slideouts unless it's custom). But hell, they'll last forever.

I was lucky enough to get a really good deal on an end-of-year clearance sale, with some successful negotiating (literally walked out) until they settled on my offer.

Airstreams generally have better than average resale value.

Now that "Thor" has bought Airstream, I'm hoping that the quality and service department doesn't go into the toilet, while captilzing on the Airstream brand. Time will tell...

Best thing to do, hit up the big RV shows, do lots of walkthroughs. Lots of options out there.

I can finally add to this thread. Just brought home our Apex Nano 213RDS. My first time towing anything at all, but it was really easy. Parking it is going to take some practice. 4DC3523D-8F79-4F7E-B8A1-FCFC27D9F2F0.jpg
